"Bound Forest Alpha" is just like it says on the box... not a proper game, it's an alpha test. Why are developers so keen to dump incomplete garbage onto Steam? Does Steam look like a trash can to these guys? Anyway this is just a tech demo where the developers tried and failed to create a cartoony survival game only without knowing how to make such games properly. It's a clunky, buggy, unfinished mess. Hard to say this was even ready to be called an alpha. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. The game assets here look a lot better than the actual game they're assembled on... that doesn't mean this is necessarily an asset flip or a kitbash, because there's no proof. But what matters is that this has all the same terrible quality as asset flips, and at the end of the day that's one of the reasons people don't like asset flips, the quality is bad. That's a problem. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.

Очень сырая игра. С самого начала уже баги
This game was amazing I don't even know where to start the story was nice and really pulled me in The game mechanics were fun to use I enjoyed the mushrooms they were fun to play with The wolves were pretty spooky one part made me jump I found a couple of movement glitches sliding/rolling on declines it send you crazy distance Another glitch I found was I could manipulate my physics in a forced sliding spot to put me in a state of perma sliding which let me move in cutscenes and be really fast for no reason I just couldn't jump at all in that state. Overall this game was fantastic and I hope to be able to purchase a full game of it soon 10/10
Jogo é pica, a história é pica, e a jogabilidade é pica. Tudo muito pica.
