W GAME The forest music is really good, feels like something out of a ghibli film Bit rough around the edges as of writing this since it just came out, but even with that it's still a really fun experience. Good job guys!
Great little game with some real heart and soul put into it.
Got to know this game from UW game dev club. It is small but very niche. I like the Irene boss fight. Very cool animation. Just need to find the other secret bosses to conclude the game. May still need some polishing. e.g. the seaweed kraken boss fight and the fluffy platformer felt clunky. The healing seed feels too strong. Also final boss feels a bit weak comparing to the other ones.
the game is very very cutesy and I like that, though it doesn't come without flaws. ~The Lag~ the lag in some cases is bad like REALLY BAD (maybe it's because I'm on a lower end device but I have tried tweaking with settings and it doesn't fix it but I'll get to settings later) when you attacked and yet get hit at the same time the game just semi freezes, like the animations of the background and such are still moving but you and your enemies are frozen and it either you can waiting for what feels a while or just quit the game and come back to the game (which means resetting the entire level) but that's not even the worst case of it. When you're fighting Solace is lags a little bit but the lag is tolerable and you can still play decently well while fighting Solace. The real problem with this is when you're fighting Irene, her second phase darkens the entire screen and the dark clouds make my game lag to unbearable degrees, I can't even properly fight her in her second phase because of it and it feels like I'm just hoping and praying with every dodge and attack at that point (this is where I tried the settings tweaking for and nothing changed) ~Settings~ I won't be too harsh here since this is an indie game but there's not that many options for optimization, and the resolution setting seems to not actually work at all (I'll play more with it to be 100% sure tho) ~Overall~ While I do actually love this game and wished more people gave it a try, just for lower end pc players... for the love of god don't fight Irene. 8/10 game imo
This is such an amazing game. Amazing music and bosses and levels. It has some minor bugs, but this review is being made the day after release
Looks charming, music is nice. However, buggy as hell for a small game that has been out for a year. Mouse and Keyboard controls do not work, no matter what buttons I would set weapon wheel, it would not register inputs. Even though it works on controller. Language setting broke halfway through my playtime. Pop ups and input bubbles became untranslated and fiddling with settings didn't help. Input settings reset to default option doesn't actually work and doesn't register being pressed. Mouse inputs do not register in the menu at all. Overall, probably would have enjoyed it, but decided not to bother after seeing all the hoops I'd need to jump through to play it in a way I'd like to. Play it if you can look past these issues.
Fun little game! Not sure if there was a mode that was supposed to unlock after defeating the final boss but If there was id suggest yall look into that Also the moving platforms in the Billowing snow area needs some tweaking, it would register the character as falling and it was difficult to get around that lol
hands sweaty killing god
plant fight plant then worm the void then icy child then a robot then god i think. really fun hard and the ice abilty is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken
