Borderlands 4

I thought it was ok up till about 10-12 hours in at which point I was over it and bored. I found the world much more bland and uninteresting that BL3 and it started to become a chore to traverse. Most of the missions weren't interesting, most of the boss fights weren't interesting. The enemies toward the end just become bullet sponges. Good loot was practically non-existent in the second half for me, I finished at lvl 30 and was still carrying around I think a lvl 14 gun because I literally never came across anything better. Even the loot for killing the Timekeeper was worse than anything I come across during the game. The timekeeper fight was at least pretty fun albeit being an absolute bullet sponge. Performance was pretty bad too, I have a 4080 super so was able to brute force some good performance but rip trying to play this on anything less.

after about a year you'd think you would see some improvement in the way the game runs but that's a dream, even on low settings it runs badly.. so bad it will turn your pc into a heater and want to try to get better settings set up? well change one thing and you have to re load shaders again and again while it runs up the heat more. amazing job guys! Will never buy another borderlands game again! what a shame i used to love these games. - i won't even mention the story and ect you can look to other comments for that. HUGE thumbs down.

Verry buggy and laggy and infinite compiling shaders screens. Sometimes even freezes. Bad endgame. Bosses were disappointing. UwU

I waited over a year for this because on release it was a buggy mess. It is better than 3 but that isnt saying much. This game is acceptable if you buy it half off it still is a buggy mess and i really am disapointed by it. Why is it so hard to make a game on par with borderlands 2?

I just cant recommend it. I didn't want to write this review until I understood more of the story but I just... cant get this game. no design choice made makes sense. Open world, cool, level design is now nonexistent, soft locks are out there and you will likely find one. Grenades recharge, interesting... but now we cant upgrade an SDU for more. While on the topic of SDUs, where's rocket launchers? Oh, now they're special weapons that replace your grenades, and to top it off you're screwed out of them for over a minute so, hope you didn't need more than that magazine. Did I mention LMGs make it in there too? so no more funny big guns at all unless they're "ordinance" Its a chore to play, and after 3 proving story writing wasn't there expertise I don't have much faith for it here. at least, its certainly not what I bought it for. but, in this economy ill play it through, too expensive not to. if you're looking at this as your first Borderlands, Play 2, the moding scene is great too.
