Best Game ^^
In the shortest terms possible it's borderlands. All the standard looting and shooting. I had fun playing through the story though I don't think it's one of the better of the borderlands stories. I'd put it on par with borderlands 3 imo. My biggest issue was I felt there wasn't enough variety in what I was killing. It was mostly all the same things throughout the game. Also I miss some of the dynamic fights. There badasses that would turn even more badass if you shot off their heads etc. That kind of thing was missing and I wish it had been there. Overall, though I had fun with it.
Absolutely amazing game, totally badass, if you know what I mean ;)
Almost a year after its release, the game now runs smoothly and offers a good Borderlands experience. The newly introduced movement tech (grapple hook, jump pack/glider, speeder) makes traversing the environment way more fun. No more running through half an empty map to a catch-a-ride station, just summon your ride, and get on with it. The platforming is pretty basic, and that's just as well, as I am not fond of hardcore platforming. Shooting feels great, gun variety is OK. The story is nothing exceptional, but there were a couple of memorable quests. The toilet humor was thankfully dialed way back, but the absurd humor is still there. I very much liked the voice acting in this game. I have been playing solo, so I cannot comment on the multiplayer parts, but I got my money's worth out from this game and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Had it not been for the rocky launch and the social media disaster that is Randy Pitchford, this game would now be comfortably rated "very positive".

死游戏知道自己全靠老钱和无爱吊着一口气吗?
Other than it requires a somewhat beefy PC to run... It's a really nice game that sticks to its roots and improves every possible gameplay aspects of it. Yes... Including the Open World, it just fits into the Borderlands blueprint I'm actually kind of surprised why they don't do this in earlier iterations. 7.5/10 I'd give it a 9/10 if it weren't so damn heavy to run.
I downloaded and beat the game during the 1 year anniversary free weekend, and was pretty underwhelmed with the game. The game is around 130GB at the time of writing this review but the main campaign felt really short for that size. There were some areas where my frames would drop in half from having too many effects at once, which is exacerbated in multiplayer where the game also now stutters frequently which I assume is from the game trying to render in areas for multiple people or something. Maybe all the shaders than need to be compiled (even when fast traveling sometimes) impacts the performance. The main story is pretty underwhelming too with the main antagonist only doing or SAYING anything in the very beginning and end of the game. Being able to spawn your vehicle basically from anywhere is nice, but we're given hover bikes that are so bad at turning it's faster to dismount and remount when trying to make a basic 90 degree turn. But with all that said, the grappling, double jump and dash make combat feel really good. It almost makes the game feel like an arena shooter, but with blander enemies less optimization. If you REALLY wanted to get the game, get it on a steep sale in a year or two from now.
