Looks terrible Runs terrible Plays terrible Sounds terrible Genuinely an astonishingly poor experience from top to bottom. Avoid.

Borderlands 4 Review: 7.5/10 – Great Chaos, Questionable Rewards Borderlands 4 is like getting invited to the biggest party on Pandora... only to find out the DJ keeps playing the same song and the gift bags are full of expired coupons. The gunplay is still addictive, the humor is as unhinged as ever, and exploding everything in sight never gets old. The new areas look fantastic, and blasting psychos with your friends is still a great time. But then you get to the boss fights... and somehow the galaxy's most feared villains have the survival instincts of a soggy cardboard box. Most bosses go down so fast I spent more time watching their intro cutscenes than actually fighting them. I was expecting epic battles, not speed bumps. And the loot? Oh boy. Nothing says "legendary adventure" quite like defeating a massive boss only to receive three green weapons and a pistol that somehow does less damage than harsh language. I opened loot chests with the enthusiasm of checking my mailbox for bills. Overall, Borderlands 4 is still a fun looter-shooter with plenty of explosions and laughs, but the boss fights are way too easy and the loot is so disappointing it feels like the real final boss is RNG. Hopefully future updates remember that "legendary" should describe the loot, not the memory of good drops.
