Borderlands 4

Honestly the best borderlands gameplay wise - movement, shooting, map design, visuals, etc. I know there are a lot of concerns around performance but that has improved - though I can confirm the game runs smooth on 5080 9800x3d, dlss/otherupscaling has to carry hard though. Also definetely don't buy full price from steam, I got the ultimate edition for under the standard edition price online

I'm not mad at you Borderlands, I'm disappointed. Feels more like a Borderlands knock-off you got from a bin at a truck stop.

TO MUCH HATE FOR THIS GAME DIDE the side quests are funny asf the stories decent i genuinley love rush and zane zedra was nice to the replayability is so nice i love the dlcs tbh and this game is giving me a run of nostalgia since i played s much borderlands 2 in middle and highschool this game is good and i cant wait to see more of it

This game runs like absolute trash. I have to run all settings at low, and even then the game still stutters and crashes. I have to stop and start the game every single time I play. The story line is pretty solid, but I will never know how it ends. I spend more time compiling shaders than actually playing the games. I feel I have mid-line specs, but apparently I'm recommended to the low settings by the game itself. I have never refunded a game before on Steam, but I'm going to learn today. I have also owned every single borderlands on PC, and BL,2,3, and Prequels on PS and Xbox. I am a huge fan of the franchise, I've been playing this franchise for over 14 years. The actual optimization, or ability to have a running game is not here. I do not recommend this game to anyone similar to my specs, if you have better you might actually like the game.

Deluxe Edition doesnt get you the season pass lmao, what a greedy dogass company. Zero Raid bosses on launch and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "DLC" thats just 5 missions and a vault hunter locked behind the DLC paywall. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ business practices ruining a ton of potential.

Absolute trash, a fitting follow up to the Borderlands Movie debacle. Just play BL2. Still the best in the series.

Hmmm... While I didn't experience any technical issues outside of the usual Unreal Engine garbage performance, I just don't think the game is good. The characters are just bad. What's with Claptrap and that other chick going on about consent for a solid minute? Yeah, consent is great and all that, but who gives a sht? The rest of the NPCs you meet are just as boring. I didn't know a game about all the crazy sht going on could be this sanitized. I want Jack and Butt Stallion back. I guess the franchise did peak with Borderlands 2. The gunplay is fine, I guess. Same as usual. Otherwise, it's just boring, and finding loot is absolute a from the looks of it. You get these "card exp" now to buy skins and weapons, and I've not found any decent weapon outside of the one I bought. You spend more time traveling on the road than shooting stuff because travel points are few and far between. You clear a point of interest in like three minutes, and then it's back to driving again. Money and Eridium are basically useless; I finished the first area boss and still haven't found a use for either. The shops only sell trash, you never need ammo, and I haven't even seen a place that takes Eridium. They even got rid of the gambling machines they had in pretty much every other Borderlands. I dunno. It's just really boring.
