BOMBFEST is [i]chaotic.[/i] Stuff is exploding left and right, stuff is flying everywhere, it's a madhouse. There's a perfect balance between skill and luck where you can be strategic, but it's really anyone's game. This game is perfect for people who want everyone to have a chance at winning. BOMBFEST is [i]action packed.[/i] Even after you're eliminated, you still get to take part in the fun as one of the falling bombs. This game is perfect for people who just want to blow stuff up. BOMBFEST is [i]just dang fun.[/i] You've got great stages, a variety of bombs, tons of hats, pretty visuals, and countless explosions. What's not to love? This game is perfect for people who just want to have a fun time with friends.

I wouldn't say its worth 10 dollars but its fun with all kinds of people even with just yourself. There are MANY things you can unlock as in a bunch of bombs and a LOT of characters and head pieces, and this is a fun party game. There are 34 achievements that are hard to unlock, I haven't gotten any! Playing on the key board is hard and playing with the mouse is annoying to other players because there is a big white thing on the game screen but, controllers work really well. (I got this game for $2 during a sale)

Bombfest: the game whose awfully generic title I couldn't remember anymore the second I put down the controller. Anyway, I got a Steam copy to review and recommend it: I played this a lot with friends & family, this is really good. Very polished, neat gameplay, easy to pick up, not really any winning strategy, just foolish frenzy. The perfect warmup for Gang Beasts!

This game is well made and the community is a great one. Fun and has great potential as a wholesome party game, I had a great time even playing just by myself. The developer is also very open and a nice guy in general. I would recommend this game to anyone of any age just looking for a chill game to relax and have some fun with.

Then check out this Cheapness affordable gaming review of BOMBFEST and Nova Nukers [Episode 83] https://youtu.be/xhHvv38ZzV0 Quick text review of BOMBFEST only: -Samescreen multiplayer is really the point of the game (No campaign, you can play against bots, there is no online multiplayer or story) -The only distractions are the unlocks but pleasantly you get something after every match until the well is dry (Exciting but the most exciting unlock, new arenas, are the least prevalent) -Maybe the game could have done with arenas (Maybe derived from the rooms wherein the arenas are placed - you play as blocky dolls who throw bombs so there's a kind of army men battlefield going on with wood blocks and kitchen sinks) -Thus, the arenas are compact, and this leads to some fun, fast paced, physics-based combat where you fling each other until ring out (Pleasantly the blocks scatter too and can even bury you) -Has cute, kind of polygonal visuals displaying the toyroom and household places but some of the colour combos can be mildly grating and some of the arenas are less exciting than the rest of the room you find yourself in -Good playful music that belongs in the toyroom yet is triumphant and competitive in its sound (For instance horns with triangle chime accents) -Good sound design too (Booms and clicking wood) -Maybe could have done with more arenas or something (Only takes 2 hours to unlock everything) Practical concerns: -Bad value for money (R7.90 / $1.00 / £0.72 per hour for me) -Small download size as it takes up 329.12 Mb on the hard drive -4p Local versus multiplayer

BOMBFEST é um jogo super divertido para se jogar com os amigos, mas tenho algo a dizer de negativo, é que pela simplicidade do jogo acho que está muito caro. Apesar de ter recebido o produto grátis para testar, tenho de ser sempre honesto como crítico. Recomendo o jogo, não o preço. There are plenty of local multiplayer games on Steam these days, but to me Bombfest stands out because of how intuitive and easy it is to jump right into. I play a fair amount of couch mutliplayer games with my wife, who is not nearly as avid of a gamer as I am (though she does her best to humor me). We’ve tried plenty of games that I loved in single-player, but had too much of a skill gap for us to enjoy together (Spelunky, Sonic Mania, and Crypt of the NecroDancer are a few that come to mind). Bombfest, on the other hand, was an instant hit with both of us. Like all good party games, it provides enough challenge to be interesting and engaging, but not so much that it spoils all the fun. I’ve also had the chance to play this game at GDEX (a prominent Midwestern gaming expo), and the buzz and energy around the Bombfest booth was palpable. At one point, there were at least a dozen people watching four players duke it out, and the cheers of victory / groans of defeat could be heard from across the giant expo hall. That, more than anything else, signaled to me what a crowd-pleaser this game is.
