Warning: Asset Flip!
Bodyrain is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Punx Studios, took the Toon Zombies Extended Pack Unity Store game assets from the real developers, Polygon Blacksmith, changed the name, dropped them on a basic game template with other plagiarized assets, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Because this is an almost exact 1:1 copy + paste of the original Unity assets, it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, Section 2, Subsection 2.2.1a:
Subject to the restrictions set forth in this EULA, Licensor hereby grants to the END-USER a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to the Asset solely:(a) to incorporate the Asset, together with substantial, original content not obtained through the Unity Asset Store, into an electronic application or digital media that has a purpose, features, and functions beyond the display, performance, distribution, or use of Assets ("Licensed Product") as an embedded component of that Licensed Product, such that the Asset does not comprise a substantial portion of the Licensed Product
Because the developer misused Unity asset packs such that they comprise the vast majority of this "game", the developer has unethically and deliberately breached the license agreement. Worse, this intellectual property violation was done in an attempt to profit from their illicit actions. Why is this permitted on Steam? The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Toon Zombies Extended Pack" is just a placeholder asset pack the developer plagiarized and combined with other Unity Asset Store backdrops to make a cash grab, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. It's just a minimum viable product, just enough to get through the non-existent quality control on Steam Direct. Not a real game. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Punx Studios. They were trying to scam gamers out of $4 USD... trying to get YOUR money for the assets they plagiarised from other, real developers. This is absolutely not okay.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The first thing the developer wants everyone to know is that they are "The Main Character". You, as a gamer, don't matter. They breach Valve guidelines for developers just to complain about a fully accurate and informative review (with facts their ego doesn't like). It's evident from their attitude that they never created this product with gamers in mind. They did so to stroke their own ego. When developers, especially failed ones who would never be able to get a professional job in the industry, put themselves before gamers, we end up with garbage products like this. That explains how this trash ended up on Steam, but it doesn't excuse it. At least we finally got to meet The Main Character, and nobody else matters. The developer BRAZENLY admits taking someone else's assets and trying to scam people out of money for them. Utterly unacceptable. They try to disguise their grift as "altrustic", which is complete BS... because there's a price tag on this garbage. The developer wants you to know they "learned a lot" by publishing garbage on Steam Direct where nobody wanted it. That really hammers home the point... this is Steam, for gamers, it's not for incompetent developers who have no idea what they are doing to dump garbage homework assignments onto Steam just to "learn" anything... developers should know what they're doing before anything else. Polluting Steam with garbage from developers who now apparently admit they are unqualified and unfit to publish products they know aren't good enough for Steam hurts everyone, and it gives amateur developers an even worse name. The developer is clearly in direct violation of the Unity Asset Store terms and conditions... deliberately breaching a commercial license agreement, for profit. The legal liability here is phenomenal... but of course, Unity never defends their terms and conditions, because they also profit from the absolutely disgusting abuse of their assets and of Steam with the literally thousands of creatively bankrupt, for-profit asset flip scams flooding the store. Just like this. And let's take this scam in the context of the developers incompetence and failure, as they breach Valve's guidelines for developers to draw more attention to their highly unethical, legally dubious breach of Unity's Terms of Service and the commercial agreement they made on the condition they don't do what they did blatantly, for profit. SteamDB shows this only had 7 concurrent players... textbook definition of failure, when you consider Steam has over fourty million monthly visitors. The incompetence here is incredible, but we've already established the developer is unconcerned of the morality of stealing/plagiarizing the work of others and trying to scam Steam gamers into giving him money for other people's game assets. Disgusting, isn't it? Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this morally bankrupt asset flip scam to anyone, whether the developer clearly documented and Youtube published their commercial agreement breach for the sake of the lawyers or not.

Gameplay fluida e progressão bem equilibrada, muito bom!
DONT PLAY THIS $H1T, DONT WASTE UR TIME
