Blueprint Word

after update 4.0 the game just stopped working for me. first it demanded some sort of software update for my laptop, then after i got it, turned out all my progress got erased, the game looks like a completely black fullscreen (with white buttons on it) regardless of what settings i try to change, there's no way to start playing (only shows me levels from 70s to 90s and doesn't react when i try to click on them) and also i'm really not a fan of getting all my past achievements erased. imho it was better and friendlier to a player before, now it's just unplayable. why'd you try to fix something that wasn't broken? very disappointed and annoyed rn. EDIT: a year later i tried to run it again, and it seems to be working now? alright, i guess. at least i can try to get the achievements now. speaking of which, still VERY annoyed at all the new "speedrun" and "no mistakes" achievements that replaced all the previous ones, erasing ALL past progress completely. my playing time is about 4hrs at the moment, but you wouldn't know from my achievement list, because all the achievements i've earned are null and void after the update. i'm gonna play it until i get all the new achievements as well, and then i'm never picking up this game again. still don't recommend btw because who knows if the developers decide to remake everything again.

[Edit] Mit Update 4.0 und dem Umstieg auf eine neue Engine, hat der Dev auch gleichzeitig alle Herausforderungsleistungen auf Null zurück gesetzt. Schlimmer ist allerdings, das er aus einer entspannten Rätsellei nun ein try hard Spiel gemacht hat, zumindest wer das Meta der Herausforderungen mitnehmen will. Sprich es gibt nun "mach keinen einzigen Fehler", als auch "beende das Spiel in unter einer Stunde" BS. Das änderte bei mir sogleich das Ja zu einem Nein. [alte Wertung] Minimalistisches Rätselspiel mit uniquem Gameplay, das gut funktioniert. Maussteuerung geht locker von der Hand und ist präzise, Undo Funktion auf Mausrad etwas unglücklich platziert. Schwierigkeitsgrad eher gering, man hat meist genug Züge als Puffer, um mal einen Fehler machen zu können. Lernkurve relativ flach, langsam aufbauend, eher was für den Flow, als eine harte Nuss. Leider kein Chapter/Levelauswahlmenü, man kann also nicht zurück um etwas nochmalig zu spielen. Zudem hovert die Blaupause sehr unruhig herum, zum Glück kann man diesen Effekt in den Einstellungen abstellen. Knapp 4 Stunden zum komplettieren, zu dem Preis absolut OK..

Blueprint Word is a minimalist word puzzle game. Spin wheels in the right order to arrange letters into words. This is the kind of game you can play for free in a web browser or on a tablet. There's no excuse for charging $3 for a game that doesn't even belong on Steam when there's free alternatives. The developer is keen to show off how entitled they are, thinking it's okay to charge PC gamers cash money because they copied some crappy game template for a mobile/browser game and dumped it on Steam. I'm not saying it's illegal what they're doing, but there's a serious lack of integrity in doing those kinds of things. I firmly believe PC gamers don't deserve to be gouged and can't be expected to pay money for browser games that got dumped on Steam as a greedy cash grab. As always, my reviews are for the gamers. This is a lazy, low effort mobile app/browser game, and it has no place alongside PC gaming greats like GTA:V, CS:GO and Skyrim. Steam is for real games, not cheap nasty cash grabs.

Due achievement non funzionano. Ho personalmente inviato una mail allo sviluppatore ma non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Per quanto riguarda il gioco, molto lineare e concettualmente semplice. Qualche livello risulta ostico ma nulla di troppo complicato. Altamente sconsigliato soprattutto per la mancanza di supporto.
