The constant "rebalances" of the monkey towers are infuriating. You grind the crap out of a particular tower so you can use a specific feature of it, then it gets nerfed to the point of not being fun anymore. I miss consoles with cartridges or disks, where the game you buy is the same today as it was when you first bought it. I'm sick of the carpet pulls we get with all these stupid updates. Taking a few years off of this game in hopes it fixes it self ... AGAIN!
very fun
после этой игры я ощущаю себя макакой
There was a challenge in Big Walk where we had to
wait 30 minutes in a room
so we hopped on co-op. If nobody got your back, Bloons always will
Excellent game with plenty of towers (monkeys). The game makes you feel spoiled for choice, and despite what many would consider an 'overabundance' of towers with many having upgrades that do the exact same thing as others, the way the monkeys actually work at their base and the synergy between their crosspaths (upgrade trees) still makes each monkey stand out and allows several possible strategies. This game also features countless maps, many of which have gimmicks that make them stand out, and several map difficulties to accompany the already wide array of game modes you can play with. While I just play the basic maps and don't branch off into co-op, races, battles or whatever else there is, I can say with certainty that there are tons of different ways to play and you'll never have to stick to the plain 'complete maps' gameplay if you get bored of that. I've played co-op before and can say it's pretty fun, and the variety of options you can pick when playing co-op or custom challenges is excellent, as you can either aim for a tough challenge or an easy relaxing game depending on what you prefer. Some criticisms I have of the game include the overabundance of monkeys; while I said it's a good way to introduce different strategic options earlier, I do think it can get confusing for new players especially, and it sometimes feels like some monkeys are just worse versions of others. I particularly don't like the beast tamer for example, as it feels like a lot of investment (not just your XP but in-game money too) for a tower that, while good, is beaten out by using that money and XP on multiple towers that inevitably do better, or one expensive tower that does better overall. The issue of overabundance is dampened by the fact you can unlock monkeys and upgrades with XP, but you unlock all the base monkeys really quickly - possibly too quickly for my liking - though I feel that is just a way to use them as an extension of the tutorial, which I can understand. The heroes are a cool feature that spice up the game too, especially as they auto-upgrade themselves through the course of the game rounds which separates them from all the other towers, but these heroes also feed into the overabundance problem some may have with this game. Honestly I don't care for the abundance thing, this is just a nitpick so I don't sound like I'm glazing the game because I genuinely have nothing else negative to say. This game is peak and one of my favourites, and I'm very biased as I grew up with Bloons. I'd recommend this game as it's certainly worth the price, but if you don't like tower defence or don't like restarting all your progress when losing a game (happens a lot here), look elsewhere.
