best game of my childhood, until they stole $28k+ and disappeared from the face of the earth
I remember it like it was yesterday... Retarded me on the ipad... Playing it... Its like Call of mini Zombies and Zombie assault kind of nostalgic. Its gone I guess. I mean you could get one from like a pirated download or something, as its the only way to get this game. But I guess this is pretty cool.
mmm no updates after 2 years and raising 28k on their kickstarter

WE NEED THIS TO BE BACK https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blocksworld/blocksworld-revival the developers are thinking of bringing it back to steam if we donate!!!
This game was a huge part of my childhood; I played it from 2013 to 2014 in mobile, way before I got Steam. There's quite a lot of nostalgia hidden in store for me in this game. I would build worlds with stories; I even remember making a zombie apocalypse series in this game with cut scenes and combat. The scripting was absolutely fun, and the user interface of the world editor was quite intuitive to me as a kid back then, which was a huge plus as it made building stuff with this game incredibly fun. Furthermore, the script editor of this game was my first time being exposed to the world of programming. It reminded me a lot of another visual programming language named Scratch but 3D. While sure, it may be the kind of programming where you don't write lines of code but drag and drop elements instead to objects/entities in the world to make them perform certain behaviors; the possibilities are still quite wide. It's part of what makes this game user-friendly to players who want to build worlds and don't have much coding experience. I'd actually even consider it a good and fun way to get introduced to programming/scripting, as it was where I first started. Actually, back then, as a kid, I didn't even know that it was called programming; I was just doing what felt right and served the purpose of building my world. Moreover, it ignited as a chain reaction of what defined what I wanted to be in the future, which is to be a software developer, as it involved quite a lot of programming and I found programming to be quite fun. I am quite thankful for this game, as I had a plethora of wonderful memories playing it. Traveling and trying out other players' worlds and building my own. It sparked that creativity inside of me. Additionally, it served as one of the catalysts that inspired me to study IT and computer science, especially the subfields of those two that involve software development and programming. Nowadays, I code in a wide range of programming languages: C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc. And you get the point; it gave me an understanding of the core fundamentals of how programming works. This game will forever be engraved as one of my most valuable childhood experiences. Thank you, to the creators of this magnificent game :D
