Blockships

Had the wonderful opportunity to play Blockships at a friends before getting it today ready for a trip home! Despite being an early access title it's already incredibly solid and a joy to play, there's nothing quite like smashing a few friends on a big screen. Don't get me wrong there's a few small bugs to iron out and hopefully more features to come (online multiplayer please!) but we had an absolute blast playing the game together and I'm looking forward to getting some more games in. Right now I absolutely recommend this as a must-have party game! Given that it's below £5 for the hours of fun this will bring it's an absolutely steal!

Been playing Blockships for a long time, at various trade shows, and it's just pure unadulterated fun. Everyone from young to old gets it immediately and then it's just game after game of explosions, laughter, and victorious cheering. It's easy to pick up but there's a great amount of depth and strategic awareness to the gameplay. You try to keep track of both the contents and positioning of your opponents' ship parts, the blocks scattered around the level, and the blocks you have available. Building to counter opponents on-the-fly is super unique, and the entire battlefield can change in an instant with a skillfully placed shot.

Ok I fixed the issue its a great game to play with friends and I would highly recommend it for the price.

Such an amazing game! Played multiple rounds at Insomnia 58, and came second in a tournament! Looking forward to having online play so I can beat my friends in far away countries! :)

I really love this game but it could do a with a new feature because I don't see me wanted to get a friend (until AI are added) the last up to add a crushing wall if you siurving for to long was a a cool up update but none of the other up date have happen up and I know it only £5 but it never be worth more unless the deves add more feature to the game.

Simple mechanics form a new, addictive experience, with much future potential. I already had 3+ hours fun with my 2 kids. Try it out!

Very awesome little local co-op game to play when you friends are around, a good party starter! I'd like to see removal of the config window when the game starts, that makes it compatible with Steam Link :)

underrated

This is an incredibly fun game to play with a couple of friends. It is quick and easy to learn and the rounds are fast-paced. A simple game with anyone, whether a serious gamer or new to video games, can pick up easily. Strongly recommended.
