As a single player experience: just forget it. You seen everything after 10 minutes. Multiplayer? Same... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3026822131 The game itself: it's "okay" if you + 3 of your friends buys this game, but you should spend your 4x3.74€ (or 4x7.49€ on full price) for something better, doesn't worth it. I don't think even the time worths it. It was in Fanatical's Mystery Star Bundle https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/mystery-star-bundle You might try fetch the 5 key version and you might get this + 4 actual good games for similar price! Or you can try the bigger bundle. Good luck! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3026822118 Edit: the game WAS FREE between September 9, 2022 to March 8, 2023 according to SteamDB!
Fun if you have friends, i don't have any :(
Cool Idea and everything but online matchmaking doesn't work and the bots are very dumb. I wish I had gotten this on my switch so I could play with my friends :(

great fun for local multiplayer
Fun game to play with friends. Fast pace and alot of enjoyment. Buttons are easy to learn and levers are fairly flexable.
C'est pas mal, ça doit être génial en multijoueur mais j'ai pas d'amis
Block'Em! is a compact, high-energy multiplayer game that focuses on immediacy, chaos, and social competition rather than complexity or progression-heavy systems. Developed by Cat Shawl Games and published by Aurora Punks alongside IndieArk, the game is clearly designed with parties, couch co-op, and quick online sessions in mind. Its design philosophy prioritizes accessibility and spontaneity, making it easy for new players to jump in while still offering enough interaction to generate tense, laugh-out-loud moments during competitive play. The core mechanics revolve around simple platforming paired with strategic block placement. Players control small, expressive block characters and are given a limited but flexible toolset: running, jumping, placing blocks, and interfering with opponents. These mechanics are instantly understandable, yet they combine in unpredictable ways once multiple players are involved. A well-timed block can secure a path to victory or completely sabotage another player’s plan, and the freedom to manipulate the arena means that no two matches unfold in exactly the same way. This emergent chaos is where Block’Em! finds its strongest identity. Matches are structured around several distinct objectives, each emphasizing a different competitive focus. Some modes reward speed, pushing players to race through shifting platforms while blocking opponents mid-jump. Others emphasize survival or area control, forcing players to think defensively while navigating hazards and player-created obstacles. Because rounds are short and decisive, the game encourages rapid rematches and rotation between modes, keeping momentum high and frustration low even when outcomes feel unfair in the moment. Losses are usually funny rather than discouraging, reinforcing the party-game atmosphere. Multiplayer interaction is the heart of the experience. When played locally with friends or online using Steam’s multiplayer features, Block’Em! thrives on social dynamics—trash talk, alliances, betrayals, and last-second reversals all naturally emerge from its design. The presence of AI-controlled opponents allows for solo or partial multiplayer sessions, but the experience feels noticeably flatter without human unpredictability. The game is clearly at its best when players are actively trying to outthink, outmaneuver, and annoy one another in real time. Visually, the game embraces a colorful, minimalist aesthetic that aligns well with its block-based mechanics. Characters are intentionally simple yet charming, with expressive faces that convey emotion despite their geometric design. Environments are bright and readable, ensuring that the chaos never becomes visually confusing even when blocks are stacking and hazards are flying. The audio design reinforces this tone with upbeat sound effects and playful music that accentuate the frantic pace without becoming distracting. That said, Block’Em!’s simplicity can also be a limitation over longer periods of play. While the mechanics are fun and immediately engaging, they do not evolve significantly over time. The selection of modes and arenas, while varied enough for casual sessions, may begin to feel repetitive for players seeking long-term depth or progression. There are no substantial unlock systems or meta-goals to chase, which places the burden of replay value almost entirely on social enjoyment rather than mechanical mastery. Online longevity is also closely tied to player population. Because the game shines brightest in full multiplayer matches, low concurrent player counts outside of peak hours can make finding online games more difficult. This makes Block’Em! particularly well-suited for organized play with friends rather than spontaneous matchmaking with strangers, especially months or years after release. In the end, Block’Em! succeeds by embracing its role as a fast, accessible party platformer built around shared laughter and competitive chaos. It doesn’t aim to be a deep strategy game or a long-term solo experience, and it’s strongest when enjoyed in short bursts with others. For players looking for a colorful, easy-to-learn multiplayer game that rewards creativity, mischief, and quick thinking, Block’Em! offers a lively and entertaining experience that captures the spirit of modern indie party games. Rating: 8/10
