A plague of undead creatures threatens to overwhelm the land and with the fall of each town to the Blight, more walking dead rise and the zombie apocalypse draws nearer. Innovative turn based single player, slow-real-time co-op multiplayer!

I had played Neptunes Pride and really enjoyed the real time pace of the game. With the same mechanics Blight of the Immortals is instead a multiplayer coop that focuses heavily on strategy.

As a fan of the the developer's previous game, Neptune's Pride, I was quite curious to see this when it came out. Unfortunately the game never really grabbed my attention. The game feels like it is more focused on speed than strategy, and the immortal enemy is fairly boring. Add in a card collecting mechanic on top of it and it simply felt like too much work to play. I would give it another chance, since it is fairly polished and well made, but there haven't been any new updates to the steam page in over 2 years, so I'm inclined to write it off as dead.
Great little strategy game, but have a few things the I think should be changed or added. First of all, DO NOT block the campaign behind a paywall, you get 6 "random" missions for free, but the rest needs premium. Secondly, when playing single player, have the option to play in slow-time, like in multiplayer. 3rd, better command buttons, instead of having to go "into" a unit to tell it to move, just have a move button appear after clicking an unit once. Lastly, random scenario games, nuff said. Small tip, during the tutorial, buy hero cards for your deck.

Blight of the Immortals may not be for every one, but it's excellent and unique. If you look for a cooperative game for 1-6 (even 12, but those maps rarely get played) players, that include real-time elements (can be abbreviated to +-6 hour turns) and TCG elements, you simply don't find anything else. At least I don't. You can try it out for free, but the game really opens up if you pay the moderate fee for the game. I gladly did for three accounts and we have used those heavily. I absolutely adore this game and have come back several times are a months-long hiatuses. I can absolutely recommend it if you like layed back coop strategy games. Think of it like a dynamic board game to play with friends.
To jedna z lepiej zbalansowanych i zaprojektowanych gier jakie ogrywałem (i nadal ogrywam). Główna zaleta....to poziom trudności.
fun, hard, coop. Like the real time play but also like the option to skip ahead if we wanna play a smaller game in an afternoon.
Fairly Deep Card Collecting strategy game. The real time battle system is really engaging if you have the time, and the turn based mod works well if you don't. Pay 2 win isn't an issue as most if not all cards can be found in the game for free, and strategic planning is infinitely more powerful than any one unit. Its not for everyone, but if you enjoy RTS's this is definitely worth a try.
