THE BAD... NO.... THE HORRIBLE:
while i absolutely love Bleach and consider it my favorite anime of all time, i was HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED.
let me explain. i consider myself a competitive person and gamer, and ive always been that way since i was very young, this online bullsh*t that they are trying to pass as "not garbage" just really irks me. its not ranked whatsoever even tho thats the ONLY way to play against another real person, as free match is 100% dead. im sorry but my rank is 946, there is absolutely NO reason at all that i should have ever been able to go against ANYONE in the top 10 of the WORLD. thats horrible and its honestly got me so upset that i cant enjoy a fighting game because the top 10 people use TRAINERS, for those who dont know what that is, its a menu they can keep up on in the corner of the screen, and allow them to make ur game unstable, give them infinite reishi, allow them to break unbreakable attacks, counter relentlessly, and allow them to get as much money, talismans, and power orbs as they want, also upgrading them to max, where as people like me, who only have 30 hours NEVER stand a chance. thats completely unfair and detours every new player to abandon all hope. cheaters have killed online, so if you plan do get it for that, just dont waste your time, energy, or money.
THE GREAT:
the story is very well done, im about 25 hours in total with the story and im not finished with the last 2 or 3 chapters.
each chapter has a really good amount of "tiles" or what i call stages.
the story starts out just like the show and continues MOST of the story up to the characters of Hueco mundo and that whole timeline. (trying not to spoil it for others)
the stages arent just simple pictures with someone talking about what happened, they actually play it out with the characters, so its almost like rewatching the series, but YOU get to do the fighting.
there is plenty to do outside of online matchmaking like the main stories and secret missions (background stories and missions for other characters like Byakuya Kuchki and such) so overall i love the game.
combat is absolutely great and def puts you in the Bleach atmosphere with destruction of the area like floorboards, light posts, breaking thru walls, and other stuff like that.
overall score is a 8/10
would have been 10/10 if it werent for the cheaters that ruin online
