On a real note, thank you so much for checking this out. I made this game entirely by myself because it was a game I always wanted to play but could never find. I've had a lot of fun playing it and maybe you will too - give it a go and leave me your most honest feedback. I truly want this to be the game that YOU also want and deserve (maybe, I don't know you).

Prior to playing this game I did not know how to play Jack Black, so I'm pleasantly surprised with the game. I am a big fan of balatro, and was happy to have been given this game for free. I recommend it to those who are a fan of deckbuilder games. I excited to see what this game can become with subsequent updates.
The best things about this game: 1. The difficulty balance. It takes Blackjack, a game where the house obviously always wins in the long run, and gives me just enough perks that I feel like with shrewd play I can be the victor. It makes for an addicting loop because of how often I still lose but feel so close to turning the corner. Then when you turn the corner and start making hundreds of thousands of dollars you feel godlike. 2. The simplicity. I hate getting bogged down by too many rules and too many cards in deck builders. Like Balatro, this benefits from being based on the same 52 cards we all know and understand, and on top of that, Blackjack is one of the most straightforward card games. However there are other Blackjack roguelikes out there that I won't play because the modifiers get too much into the weeds, but the "cheats" in this game strike that balance of being interesting without being confusing.
this is actually really fun. It's great pick up and play, no filler, easy to understand, but also a surprising amount of depth and room for strategy. It scratches that "blackjack" itch I've always had with Balatro - specifically stacking bonuses and big numbers go brrr. it's obviously not balatro, but for a solo indie dev, it's impressive and genuinely enjoyable. definitely worth the low price tag
THIS GAME RUINED MY LIFE! Don't get me wrong. I am a true CTH Day-1 fan. I think that this is the BEST game ever created. The Cheese King is a genius. That being said, this game also QUICKLY ruined my life. See, I have a history of addiction. I know, I know - why would I even play? See I figured this was like an alcoholic drinking some NA Beer. No real money - no real problem - you feel me? Well I was DEAD WRONG! As soon as I got a taste of that sweet, sweet victory, I was off to the RACES! Seeing the cards just reminded me! It has only been 48 hours and I already ruined my life. Wife, Kids, Dog... luckily I never had any of those things. What I did have though was 7 years of never going to the Hard Rock in AC, getting HAMMERED and sleeping with somebody's grandmother. Well, today I woke up, confused and thirsty. I reached and felt next to a glass of water next to me. I drank about half of it before I realized there were teeth floating in it. I looked around and yup... I know this place. Tropicana Penthouse. Thanks for nothing Cheese King! That all being said - I highly recommend this game!
A blackjack game without the option to Double or Split your card? Come on, anyone who play blackjack should know that there's more than just hit and stand
