After playing this game for some days I can recommend it. As you can see in the discussion I have already written that there are some things that need to be improved. But I can say now that the developer was right that the start is difficult but then it is getting better. This is because the money you earn by shooting robots is saved on your account over the rounds you play. Then you can buy better weapons with that money and so fight the robots a little bit more effective. The feeling of this FPS is as they say on the shoppage "fast paced action", the robots are always after you and there is not much time for sneaking around corners or something like that. I like the science fiction setting very much. The graphics are good and everything runs very smooth (gtx 1070, i7) For 15€ I would buy it again.
This game is amazing! It's a breath of fresh air from the same old VR games that are out there and for the current price of 10 bucks it's a steal. Featuring a massive arsenal to use at your disposal and upgrades that allow your character to wreak havoc on your enemies, this is the best sci-fi game out there. Graphics are great and the gameplay experience is truly immersive. I definitely reccomend this game to anyone who loves VR shooters!
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
I do recommend this game on sale. I got it for $3.59 USD and if you can find it at the price or lower then you should definitely pull the trigger. Make no mistake about it, this game is hard even on normal. I didn't try the game on easy, but on normal difficulty you will die a lot just to get past the first level. Unless you're an expert shot and a master at avoiding damage, you will need to upgrade your weapons before you can successfully clear the area. There's just an endless onslaught of enemies that spawn from everywhere. It is not rare that you die because you ran out of bullets. I used free locomotion to run around. However, you do need to set up full roomscale because you can't turn with the joystick. And you need to be accurate to quickly take down enemies, in front, behind, and to your sides. So you need to be able to quickly turn and run in that direction. Be warned, there is a lot of backtracking. I think this is to artificially inflate the length of the game. Even after upgrading my guns, I found that I was going back to a place that I had just been to collect another item in that same area. However, I found the fast-paced action to be fun, even it was frustratingly difficult at times. Luckily, upgrading isn't too difficult and easy especially after you upgrade the first few times. Then you're able to kill more enemies and killing more enemies leads to more upgrades. So it's slow at the start, but then you're able to upgrade several things, making life all that much easier and more fun as well. So you do need patience to play this game. I enjoyed the Duke Nuke'em style voiceover. It's an arcadey, action bullet hell story FPS game. Heavy emphasis on the action part. The graphics were just okay but on the bright side there was a nice variety of enemy types and weapons to unlock. You also get special abilities you can unlock and upgrade as well. Rate 6/10. Buy on sale and enjoy the challenging arcade action shoot em up fun.
Probably one of the harder VR games for all the wrong reasons. Maybe I just got unlucky, but every enemy in the level seemed to stalk me as soon as I spawned in. Still, upgrading weapons is always a plus and some of the later levels look pretty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCtaJHXTQ3g
By far the most promising VR first person shooter I have seen thus far on steam. The mechanics are crisp and logical which is something that other developers seem to struggle with when it comes to fps games. For only $10 this game was an absolute steal!
A fun shooter game with a variety of guns to unlock and different skills and abilities to try out. Nice graphics and depth for a survival shootathon.
A game of small steps at first. The upgrades are needed to handle the enemies that come after you. You will die again and again but with less frequency as the game progresses. Get out of there! Don't sit still. Great graphics. Takes time to get good at what you need to do.
