Big Hit VR Baseball

Thinkin I'm about the only one playing this game... Never tried to hit a live pitch when I started playing, now I can make contact with about 80% of regulation size fastballs in the 80-90mph range. Still working on incorporating breaking balls into my at-bats, but uh... Thank you, This is my favorite thing to do with my vive and I haven't exercised this consistently in years.

2 words: very realistiic. Especially when you turn the baseball size down to 1.0 (real size) and turn the pitching to average or starter. Really awesome way to take free BP at home. Very addictive. Make sure to supersample if you make the baseball normal size, cause it is small! Very rewarding to hit home runs as it is not easy, but for those who don't want the realistic experience, you can make the ball huge and juice it :) Great little VR batting simulator.

I'd recommend this game. If you get the ball size down to 1.0x and juice level of 1, it's a pretty cool batting simulator. It is very difficult at first but after a while you will be rewarded with a long ball that will feel well earned. My only critique, and this is more erogomic than having to do with the game, is the minimal weight of the Vive controller and how that effects the realism of a swing. In a year, when the vive trackers are more ubiquitous, I'm sure we will have 3rd party weighed bat handle grips that will take care of the problem, but until then this poses a hole in the gameplay.

I wish the game was still being updated and wasn't abandoned. I've spent so much time in this game and would definitely recommend it to others even though there won't be anymore updates.

For starters, this game helped me hit faster pitches irl and pitches that have a lot of rpm's like a curveball or a slider. It also helped my swing flatten out and I hit a lot of doubles and triples these last few games. Finally, Big Hit VR Baseball made an impact in my friends that made them hit better as well and are team has become unbeatable!

This is just a typical VR batting practice simulator with outdated graphics from 2017 that has extremely limited content and repetitive gameplay. All you can do is stand at the plate and swing, which can get repetitive and dull. Sure you can adjust the ball size and a few other variables, but you cannot change the bat nor are there any graphic options. The pitcher is also 2D for some reason. I would recommend baseball in All In One Sports VR over this experience.

Not bad, decent, if you try to actually swing you'll lose tracking, but its fun to just hit absolute nukes when you're bored.
