Kodumun oyunu, bitmesine üzüldüm. Hayatımda ödediğim en iyi 80 cent.
I'm genuinely not sure how this game has "Very positive" overall reviews. I wanted to like it, and I gave it more than a fair shot, but the writing goes from "decent" in he first half of the game to utter trash that feels like it was written by interns or the result of rushed development in the latter half. I'm not even sure if I will bother finishing it at this point. The Navajo and Middle East levels in particular are just asinine with their writing choices. Numerous times I was complaining out loud "what the actual ♥♥♥♥?" based on the actions of NPCs, dialog, sequence of events, and choices presented to the player. Speaking of choices, those missions remove almost all meaningful decisions, going from a limited "choose your own adventure" earlier in the game to just linear pass/fail tasks with no meaningful differences. I loved Detroit: Become Human and found it a really compelling experience. While Quantic Dream "games" aren't really games in the traditional sense, they are a cool and accessible way to tell interactive stories, but this one just doesn't hold a candle to that one. I'm glad I didn't pay full price, and I'm not sure I would even recommend it as a free experience. Overall, this had lots of potential, and the production quality is high from a visuals/sound/acting perspective, but the flaws in the written material and the "gameplay" are just too big to ignore.
Beyond: Two Souls'u açıkçası beklediğimden daha fazla sevdim.
Some games are designed to entertain you for a few hours. Beyond: Two Souls is the kind of game that quietly stays with you long after you've finished it. Jodie's story isn't about saving kingdoms or defeating impossible enemies. It's about living with something no one else can truly understand. Bound to Aiden from birth, every stage of her life is shaped by a gift that often feels more like a curse. Watching her grow, make mistakes, lose people, and keep moving forward makes her feel more like a real person than just another video game protagonist. The gameplay leans heavily into cinematic storytelling, and while it's fairly simple, it never gets in the way of what matters most - the characters. Every decision, every conversation, and every moment of silence adds another layer to a story that constantly shifts between hope, fear, love, and loss. It's less about whether your choices are "right" and more about what kind of person you want Jodie to become. The performances are outstanding, making every emotional scene feel believable rather than forced. It's one of those rare games where even the quieter moments carry just as much weight as the supernatural ones. Is it perfect? No. The pacing can be uneven, and not every chapter hits with the same strength. But when everything comes together, Beyond: Two Souls delivers an emotional journey that's difficult to compare to anything else. It's not a game I remember because of its mechanics. I remember it because of the people, the emotions, and the feeling that some connections can never truly be broken - even when the whole world tries to pull them apart.
Meh, I'm torn by this one. If I treat it as an interactive movie where my choices matter, it's a fine product, but there is not much from the gaming perspective. It throws some random sequences at you, where you gotta act, but very often those choices are kinda limited. I have 4 hours and I played it in like 4-5 different sessions. It doesn't keep me playing, bores me quite quickly. So I will give it a positive review for the story, cause it's kinda cool, but I'd definitely give it a negative review for gameplay. All in all, this is my first and last cinematic gaming experience. Not my cup of tea.
