It's not as bad as it looks, but some of the puzzles are confusing

Crashed once and lost the saves but all in all one of the best classic rpg games I've found in awhile. Waiting for the full game.

Исследование мира приятно вознаграждается находками, которые помогают в выживании и раскрывают историю этого разрушенного мира. Крафт предметов и улучшение оружия добавляют глубины геймплею. Несмотря на некоторые технические недоработки, которые иногда встречаются, общее впечатление от Beyond DAWN крайне положительное. Это игра, которая заставляет задуматься о цене выживания и о том, что значит быть человеком в мире, лишенном надежды. Рекомендую всем любителям постапокалиптических RPG.

Beyond DAWN is a compelling, story-driven JRPG that dives headfirst into a dystopian world teetering on energy collapse, ruled by the shadowy D.A.W.N. corporation. As cadet Chance, you’re thrust into a morally gray conflict between corporate control and rebel defiance, with choices that feel impactful even in the game’s shorter runtime. The writing shines, fleshing out factions and characters with depth, while the retro-inspired art and haunting original soundtrack amplify the bleak, immersive atmosphere. Played on the Steam Deck OLED via a Micro SD card, the game ran smoothly on SteamOS, with only one crash (fixed by a restart). Combat channels classic JRPG simplicity but spikes in difficulty at times, demanding strategic tweaks. The abrupt story ending leaves questions unanswered, likely setting up future chapters. For a free passion project, Beyond DAWN delivers a memorable experience despite minor flaws. If you crave narrative-heavy RPGs with retro charm, it’s well worth your time—and supporting the devs via Patreon could help realize their ambitious vision. 4/5 stars.
