Betelgeuse is a mind-bending puzzle game where simple rules create complicated puzzles. At the beginning it should be easy for everyone, but later on it's getting really challenging. It consists of six chapters where rules are completely different.

It's ok. Keeps kids quite for a while :)
Very good puzzle game. Surprisingly many levels and the variety between them. Warning: it's addictive! :)

Betelgeuse is a mostly-fun, sokoban or Chip's Challenge-like game, that is worth playing, especially given it's free, but with several things called out. I'm amazed that it's free, given the sheer number of puzzles, and how well-done some of them are. First thing to call out is some levels are ridiculously hard. That would be fine, if there were a guide in the Guides section of this game, but there isn't. OK, no problem, Google "Betelgeuse guide" or "Betelgeuse walkthrough". You'll find absolutely nothing. By digging around in the discussions, even ones that weren't in English, I found someone did a YouTube walkthrough in Polish. But since the game is visual, you can just watch the appropriate video to see how to get unstuck. At that point, you'll wish the walkthrough called out which levels are in which video, but it doesn't. Have fun binary-subdividing the playlist trying to find the chapter and level you're on. It's in there somewhere. So, to find the guide playlist on YouTube, search for "zagrajmy w betelgeuse". You're welcome. There are other annoyances. There's no single-move undo. Painful. Next, the menu you get if you hit Escape looks like a pause menu but isn't. You'll reset the level if you hit Escape. Also, that Escape menu has no way to get to other chapters, which is really confusing. To get to the chapter select, you have to, at the start of any level, walk backwards onto the tile with three chevrons on it. One last point - if you look at the game achievements before playing, you'd think the game was an "easy 100% achievement"-type game, but it's not. I don't know why all the achievements have 40+% completion (maybe some achievement cheaters?); this game is seriously hard at times. I've spent half an hour on a single level more than once. The walkthrough does that as well, so it's not just me. Summary, this free game is better than quite a few puzzle games I spent money on. But just know it's seriously difficult at times. Or maybe I'm just dumb. Maybe both. But it's still worth playing.
I've never been a fan of logic games, but this one got me right from the start. At the begining it's pretty simple, but it gets more and more complex with time. What I personally like about this one is that when new mechanics are implemented, the game doesn't tell you exacly what new things do, you need to figure it out on your own, but it's designed carefully at the same time so you won't get lost or overwhelmed. Seems like there are hundreds of levels and I'm going to beat them all someday ;)
Very nice and good support if one gets stuck.
Very nice puzzle game, relaxing yet engaging and challenging. Various new mechanics appear as the levels progress and explanation of those is organic incorporated into levels. Superb!
Although it may seem simple at first, it will certainly be a challenge for you and keep you engaged as puzzles become more and more complicated. While understanding the basics is quick and intuitive, you'll soon be thinking a few steps ahead if you don't want to fall into an abyss! I strongly recommend this nicely crafted game!
