BEASTWATCH: Meat & Mayhem

*pig squeel* Definitely scratches the retro shooter itch. If you've got a couple hours to kill this a fun one.

Buen juego, divertido y a la vez se vuelve un reto al ser un tanto complicado. Estéticamente bonito, y jugabilidad aceptable. Esperando desde ya Beastwatch 2.

Great old-school fps with some light puzzles. Loved the level design, enemies, and weapons(shotgun had an especially nice crunch to it). The combat feels great . The only almost negative thing is that some checkpoints are spread out pretty far, so it can really sting when you die. Upside tho is it's very satisfying to beat a level. Just wish the game was longer

Но далее ты понимаешь, что это по сути однообразный трэш. -Враги одни и те же, и на первом уровне это свинолюди -Болванчики, которых вы убиваете либо стоят на месте, либо бегают взад вперед -Это хоррор шутер, и собсно, боятся тут нечего -Особой интерактивности тут нет. -Об иммерсивности забудьте -Исследовать не интересно да и нечего -Альтернативных путей или чего то подобного нет -Сюжет отсутствует а лорных записок я нашел пару штук -Звук ваших шагов будет отдаваться у вас в мозгу Если говорить о плюсах, то их немного: стоит отметить звук выстрела и звук лопающихся вражьих голов. Ну еще ретро визуал прикольный. На этом все.

Simple game. Run and gun but not the boomer shooter type of way. You do have to find some keys from time to time and there is like 2-3 puzzles you have to solve, but other than that: you see enemy, you shoot it and keep moving. Nothing special. I will say that I was bored throughout the whole first level but it does get better after that, as you get 1 more enemy variety and a change of scenery. The platforming is atrocious though but luckily there's very little of it. I recommend only if you're really interested. Plays great on steam deck!

Das Spiel ist alles andere als Horror! Es gab vielleicht hier und da einen kleinen Schreckmoment - Betonung auf klein - und das auch nur, weil in völliger Dunkelheit plötzlich ein hässliches Dreckschwein vor mir gespawnt ist. Spaß macht es leider überhaupt nicht, da sich das Spielerlebnis ständig wiederholt (finde einen Schlüssel, um Tür XY zu öffnen). Ist absolut nicht mein Fall. Echt schade, denn eigentlich mag ich PSX-Stilistische Horrorgames :c

A decent but fairly simple FPS with a really cool retro horror aesthetic. The FPS part of the game is admittedly pretty standard with a fairly typical weapon selection, but the cool enemy design and atmosphere of the game makes it stand out from the huge pack of short indie shooters in my opinion. Definitely worth a look.
