Bean Wizard Eviscerates the Gonklins

A clever twist on a brick-busting game with a lot of charm! This is a brick buster where the bricks contain little creatures, similar to [i]Jardinains[/i], but instead of bouncing a ball, your character is shooting beans (or donuts, or seeds, etc., for the various different characters). Broken bricks can either spawn an enemy, release hearts for health, cherries for spendable points, or gold for upgrades. The levels in [i]Bean Wizard[/i] are not cleared by breaking all of the bricks, but by eliminating a certain number of Gonklins. Therefore, since the bricks contain both rewards and enemies, there is an element of strategy involved: balancing the search for rewards with the flow of enemies so as not to overwhelm your defenses. It's a crazy concept, and the sound, music, art, and voiceovers are suitably whimsical and zany! I really appreciate that [i]Bean Wizard[/i] doesn't take itself too seriously, and is a silly enough game to just blast away and have a good time. That is not to say that [i]Bean Wizard[/i] cannot be challenging! At the higher difficulties, it is a true "bullet-hell" game that will test your mettle. All-in-all, I find this to be a wonderful little game to just kick back and play during a break. Who knew that eviscerating Gonklins would be so fun?😆
