Battlefield™ 2042

They have two modes (Conquest and Breakthrough) where you can just play against bots, and set the difficulty of the bots. I'm not good at competitive FPS and will never be able to no-life enough for PVP to be fun, so being able to play on easy and normal is a godsend. For this reason alone, I love this game. You can play these PVE modes solo or with a squad. It's more Battlefield than Battlefield 6 imo. B6 is super crammed maps with complete chaos that didn't feel good to me. This one has big maps with a good variety. +Guns feel good. +TTK is reasonable, not 1-shot, but not spongey either. +Vehicles are fun. +Progression is fun and gives plenty to work towards unlocking. +I like that there is futuristic stuff, but it's not overly sci-fi laser guns or anything crazy. The flying bikes are fun. - There's still a good amount of jank, 5 years later, so it'll never be fixed. Examples, I load into helicopter or shoot a guided missile, or ride the elevator, and it causes massive visual glitch - I hear it doesn't work on Linux because of the anti-cheat software
