For a game released in 2013, it looks surprisingly good. The game is packed with gameplay and combat, and lots of things to destroy. However, the game is not perfect. Swimming is impossible without spamming pause and capping the framerate at 60 FPS, because your character will be propelled backwards. Additionally, the hit registration is 50/50. Sometimes it works, but often times there are invisible barriers and enemies take 0 damage. The most invisible barriers are on concrete corners and metal around metal railings. The story is engaging and the characters do not endlessly yap about some nonsense, the plot actually goes somewhere. Graphically, the game looks pretty good, but sometimes objects and scenery flicker into or out of existence for no apparent reason. Especially ammo boxes and destroyed trees get messed up sometimes. On the other hand, for €2, one cannot complain too much. For the low amount of money I spent, the campaign was definitely enjoyable and the combat was fun, especially exploding helicopters and tanks with grenades and RPGs. I encountered a few softlocks where the squad does not follow and the button prompts do not appear, but due to the sheer amount of checkpoints, reloading a checkpoint always fixes it. Not a big deal in the end.
