Battle Waves: Card Tactics

Wasn't too sure what to expect from the game when I first downloaded it but after playing for a couple hours I can honestly say the games pretty fun and addicting. If you're thinking of getting it, I recommend giving it a try.

Good pacing on the intro and a ton of variety with different minion types and play styles! I have it on the steam deck and touch controls work great. Haven't finished the roguelike campaign yet but the difficulty scaling is well done so it stays fresh and challenging. I'll definitely be sinking a lot of hours into this one!

Extremely addicting attack/defense game with detailed art and animations. The mechanics made it easy for me to learn quickly and jump right in. Hard to stop playing once I started the campaign

Day 10: The moons are still about to touch. Casual, fun, click units, send them on their merry way. Pros: -good ol mindless fun, make units stronger and rarer, go squish other units -can build your own 'deck' by choosing many various factions with their own unique global buffs -ability for your 'commander' to add unique effects to your base -pace of the game is pretty nice and quick -the sound effects the lil characters make are cute and a lil silly (in a good way). Imagine a monologue along the lines of of "Now I am become Death, destroyer of worlds" but with Animal Crossing esque sfx Cons: -sometimes the pathing can get a lil squiffy (had a unit run all the way backwards down the lane to run some other unit down lul) -sometimes the AI forgets that the (enemy AI) units exists and just stands there in limbo -if you're looking for super deep strategy and complexity, this might not be it Definitely worth trying for a casual, fun, and cheap game :D

Being a fan of tug of war style custom games games in SC2, I can confidently say this game satisfy my craving. I find the added mechanic of live deck building a welcome match to the genre that keeps me coming back. I'm certainly looking forward to the future for battle waves, especially to see how large of a competitive PVP community will develop. Nice job Cage!

Awesome game with a cool combination of gameplay elements. It is super satisfying to get the hang of as a first time player of this genre. The art is also super cool. I can't wait to see how the game evolves but for now I am hooked.

I don't play a lot of card battler games but this one has a nice mix of deck mechanics, auto battling, and MOBA style lanes/win conditions. Appreciate the multi faction unit approach and being able to upgrade during gameplay adds some good strategy that I wasn't expecting. Difficulty in the campaign is definitely on the hard side ride now but the devs can certainly balance that with updates to the game. Overall pretty cool game!

Go buy, its worth it
