If you think you have what it takes to match wits with players from around the world in a 24/7 Risk game with no dice rolls and even more back stabbing then this is for you! I am a player of BD1 and though the game still has some bugs and balancing issues, its certainly has a lot of promise. The mobile app is a life saver and really makes managing your colony when you are away from your computer easier than ever! But I don't recommend Mobile only gameplay. This is not a game for the light hearted. I highly recommend anyone attempting to join this community, reach out and make a friend ASAP! There are lots of tactics you need to be aware of before spending money, otherwise, your money will just be wasted as you die. That being said, its entirely possibly to win at this game without spending a dime! I've done it and I know others have. The key is friends and Activity! If you don't have BOTH you will lose, regardless of your spending ability. Looking forward to the changes the Dev team have in store!
Battle Dawn was an old and beloved flash game that ate the lives of many. Battle Dawn 2: Terra Reborn is a mistake.

While the start of the beta was a bit rough with connection issues, going from crashing every 2 hours, the devs kept trying to fix everything that was happening. Now days it crashes maybe once a day if there unlucky to once every 2 days. While many here with bad reviews will say its a waste of money that is the same with any game, but they didn't have to spend anything as everything that is mentioned is possible free to play, nor did they get to any point of inbalance yet with money. If you want to give the game a go id suggest trying it but not playing to win, I want any new player to play to understand what is happening as you are going into a community that goes 10+ years back. While that may seem daunting have no fear, the game is still different to us as well and we are all learning at the same time so I invite you to join us, find new things we don't and have fun as a community -Cerberus
please update/ make a new super mechs game

With four hours in and playing in two environments, I have got to say that until a better tutorial is developed this game is a waste of time. It starts off way to slow as far as learning how the game works and before you blink other players are attacking you so you can't even finish the first quests. Community is one of the worst I have ever played in. Do yourself a favor and invest your game time elsewhere.
Warning: Third Party Account This game requires you to create a third party "BattleDawn 2" account... there's no valid reason for this in a PC game when SteamWorks is available. This is often done to harvest private data and profile you, with potential sale and transmission of your private data to third parties. The developers will probably argue that you can trust them, but if they were trustworthy they wouldn't demand you create a third party account. This represents a considerable risk to gamers due to the privacy and security implications of developers that wish to bypass Steam and harvest user data. Remember, sometimes if the product is free, YOU are the product.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"Battle Dawn 2: Terra Reborn" is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. This is a broken, bug and cheater riddled mobile scam where the developers let their buddies abuse exploits (while it still had players) to win the game. No refunds or resets were offered in this incredibly lame and shallow iPhone screen tapper where you tap your iPhone to move units around and pretend to fight other people. This is basically a Sci-Fi "Clash of Clans" but even more P2W, utterly broken, and, laughably, even worse quality than most other mobile apps. And here it is, on Steam, which is for PC games! There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino. That's basically what this is. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. As with all mobile scams, you're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality mobile app, this is specifically designed to invalidate your consumer rights and destroy your right to privacy. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's well over 130 million gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. I didn't pay money, but I still feel ripped off.
Microsoft paint more fun than that sh.t
