Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition

The atmosphere is brilliant. The Joker is brilliant. Arkham looks gloomy and atmospheric. But playing it, unfortunately, isn’t all that interesting. The locations are confined; there’s not much to explore, and the bosses are beaten by simply ‘doing the same thing as last time’. The combat system also gets tedious quite quickly. And towards the end, the game apparently decided to test how steady my hand was and simply started spamming me with enemies. The last 30 minutes aren’t Batman anymore, but a simulator for pressing the same buttons over and over. I realise that, for its time, the game was revolutionary. But in 2026, for me, it’s more like a very atmospheric museum of monotonous gameplay.

Volví a jugar a este videojuego, pero, ahora con el mod al español latino de ig studio, lo cual era la único que le faltaba a este juego para ser good, ya qué, gracias a que en el doblaje tiene actores muy reconocido hasta esta la mejor del guasón incluida, se siente más inmersivo a diferencia del doblaje español oficial que por ahí te sacaba de la inmersión
