BEST GAME SINCE SLICED BREAD
Not bad, I've played worst games made in a basement. I wanted a fun game where I save bananas and shoot pigs, in that respect it almost succeeds. Play it if you're tired of Souls-likes and Rogue-likes and you have 4 dollars burning a hole in your pocket Get drunk enough and you might enjoy shooting pigs in the face with a disembodied shotgun. 2/5 and that's only cause this game made me hungry for bacon.
For $2.99 it's okay, I wouldn't recommend it if it costed more. Very rudimentary and frustrating/rage inducing. I'm bad at games I guess. https://youtu.be/WLxgLdBJgNo
Бананы говорят что они не традиционной ориентаци
fun game with a bit of challenge and good humor.
Played it to 100%, and for a small game, I had a pretty good time with it. The humour actually landed for me more than I expected. Banana Ham, or whatever his name was, was genuinely funny, and his weird nasally voice reminded me a bit of Zach Hadel. The notes you find around the levels also got a few laughs out of me. The shotgun gameplay is simple and easy to understand, but that first level was easily the hardest part for me. You have to be pretty close for shots to really connect, and with a lot of enemies taking two hits, you’re almost guaranteed to take some damage in a fight. Ammo conservation was rough early on too, though that’s probably partly on me since I’m not amazing at shooters. Someone with more experience would probably handle it better. One thing I will say is that the banana voice lines can get annoying if you’re stuck for a while. The first time I heard what sounded like a Filthy Frank type voice, I laughed, but after hearing it again and again while stuck on the first level, it started to wear thin fast. As the game goes on, it honestly gets easier, mostly because it becomes a lot more generous with ammo. That made the later levels less frustrating and more fun. My main criticism is that the 3 levels are basically the same thing repeated with different layouts. I think the game could have used one more mechanic to keep things fresh. Even something silly and banana-themed, like banana peels or some other environmental gimmick, would have helped. Also, the pigs all look the same even though some take 1 hit, some 2, and some 3. It would have been nice if there were clearer enemy types, like piglets, standard pigs, and boars, so that difference felt more intentional. That’s me being a bit picky though, because this is clearly a small game. Overall, I enjoyed it. Funny writing, simple combat, and a decent little time killer.
