This is THE WORST remake I have ever seen. Graphics are improved, that is about it. Kids CONSTANTLY fall over. Nobody has the arm strength to get it to a base. Ernie Steele is stuck on saying YES to only a right hook. Kids are tired after 20 pitches. Stamina feature is stupid. Vlad Gurerro is less likely to hit a homer than Stephanie Morgan. WHY WOULD THIS EVER GET PAST BETA TESTING!!! This game is ruined. All nostalgia is gone. The very first refund I have ever requested in all my years of gaming. Seriously DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

It's more of a fun app than a real game. Certainly not worth the price. There's batting and pitching. Really nothing else. Fielding is a joke, stats don't mean anything. There are cards but they're just... there. Play once then forget this.

Coming from BYB 2003 recently, this was a game I was heavily anticipating. Offensive play isn't bad. It plays more-or-less like the original games. The extra mechanics like sliding and a run meter are nice additions. I also like the predictable behavior for power ups. This system is a lot more intuitive and forgiving as compared to the old games where you had to make successful defensive plays to unlock offensive powerups. The old system was a PITA and, made getting some of the legendary powerups nearly impossible. The new system for offensive and defensive powerups makes sense. Visually the maps are vibrant and beautiful (9/10). Character models are detailed to match their environment while not compromising the aesthetics and charm of the game and it's legacy (9/10). Voice acting is mid-tier at worst and good at best, I wish Mega Cat Studios could've integrated the original character dialogs and voice lines from one version of the legacy games to accompany the original sounds (7/10). I also enjoy the nods to the legacy of the series they throw around. This game was developed with some care given to it. Where that care, went was the offense. Sadly, this game still needs some extra time in the oven before it can even compete with it's 23 year old predecessors. Defense is a DISASTER! It's bad, really bad and makes defending nearly impossible. At times, you are at the mercy of the game's AI for successful defensive plays. Pop fly balls leave your characters aloof, hits to outfield are nearly a guaranteed double play, if the ball isn't in front of your character its nearly gauranteed you'll need to instruct them how to play the game. It's like your team's brains turn into mashed potatoes! Your team's sense of where the ball is, or where it's going to be just isn't there! It's so sad, compared to the older games. You would think this is behavior would be limited to the harder difficulties or maybe you'll remark this is a "skill issue" and I should "get good".. This is not! Defensive play needs a lot of work. The game requires you to literally direct the whole team to do anything!!! It ruins the experience completely (2/10). This lopsided play is game breaking. Fix defense! Given baseball is a sport where you need balanced offensive and defensive plays, I cannot recommend this game especially at $40.

Great game, lots of depth. Play the tutorial, people saying it's too hard are missing some info. Online multiplayer should be great once it is added. Also the game runs perfectly on my old i7 2600 with 8gb ram and a 1060, well below the stated minimum system requirements.

Fun gameplay and stunning visuals. This reminded me of and old game i used to play, Baseball heroes.

this game is the perfect match if yu don't want to much grinding or blood and gore. i find this game very intertaining and hope to see more udates in the future.

♥♥♥♥ this game/ players just falling over randomly. missing catches at first base for no reason. meanwhile the computer has is getting strikes when its clearly outside the box, catching in the outfield when its not even close, and hitting EVERY SINGLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PITCH even when you get a perfect pitch and its even outside the strike zone. like wtf?
