No real new modes no MLB teams no multiplayer no cool new stadiums, its just not good enough.
I love that the game is staying true to the original. Such a nostalgic experience!

First off, I make this review as someone who absolutely loved the original '97 release and tolerated the later versions. The gameplay is fun, batting is great and they managed to capture and build on the nostalgia of one of the best early arcade style baseball games. However I cannot recommend this game at this price point (yes, I know the original launched for $40 back in the day). The amount of real world product placement sponsorships in the game could have quite easily off-set the price to a more normal $20 price for an arcade game experience - however launching at $40 for an unfinished version of a 30 year old remake with somehow poorer fielding AI than the original, has left a sour taste that ultimately led me to refund.
Brings back childhood memories. I can't wait until the other Backyard Sports games are released!

I GRABBED A WHOLE $40 DOLLARS OUT OF MY WALLET TO BUY THIS GAME THINKING ITS AS GOOD AS THE OLDER GAMES BUT IT WAS ASS. 2/10 I WIULD REFUND THIS GAME AGAIN.
It's more of a fun app than a real game. Certainly not worth the price. There's batting and pitching. Really nothing else. Fielding is a joke, stats don't mean anything. There are cards but they're just... there. Play once then forget this.
this game is amazing but the only problem is the bugs where the ball dissaper after hitting it, and also the fielders. when the ball is hit out the fielders will follow it and wont come back.
