About

Backrooms: Lost Signal is a cooperative horror experience where survival is never guaranteed. Trapped in endless, unfamiliar spaces, you must explore, communicate, and make decisions that will define whether you live or die.

Play alone or team up with up to four players as you explore the Backrooms together. Staying together may keep you safe in some cases, but splitting up might be the only way forward. Every choice you make as a group can mean survival or disaster.

Puzzles are integrated directly into the environment, forcing you to pay attention while dangers are present. There is rarely time to feel safe, and every solved puzzle pushes you deeper into the unknown.

Some encounters are designed to push you to your limits. During intense, scripted and immersive chase sequences, the entire group must run, adapt, and survive together while a relentless entity hunts you down. Paths shift in real time as doors open, obstacles fall, and the environment forces new routes. Panic, coordination, and quick decisions are the only way out.

The Backrooms hide more than just monsters. Scattered across the maps, optional pieces of lore reveal fragments of a deeper story. Pay attention to your surroundings, collect what others might ignore, and slowly uncover the truth behind the world you and your team are trapped in.

Reviews
I really wanted to like this game, but unfortunately it’s in a very rough state right now. Right after installation, there were already issues in the main menu. The game gets stuck on “Loading...” and nothing happens — the only way to exit is with ALT+F4. After restarting, things didn’t improve: character controls are completely messed up, WASD movement is out of sync and feels broken, making the game almost unplayable. Flashlight does not follow the character's view. On top of that, the entities feel poorly implemented and not polished at all, which completely ruins the atmosphere. Overall, this game needs serious rework. In its current state, it’s not even on the level of a proper beta version.
