La verdad, tanto Helltaker como Awaria, son buenos juegos que, a pesar de que estan cortos, son muy entretenidos. Mis respetos para el creador

I really like this game. Like, a lot. The controls are snappy, the core gameplay loop is seriously addicting, keeping you invested even as the game gets hard (and trust me, it gets hard), the music isn't anything mind-blowing, but it's wonderful in the area of ambient music, perfect for setting the tone and never gets boring or grating, and the art... I mean, come on, its the Helltaker guy. Even if the characters themselves weren't designed for sex appeal, I truly believe that vanripper has such a clear grasp on how to make a charming character, or, heck, a charming game. His use of colors is truly incredible. The way he draws hair, faces, eyes, and clothing specifically has always blown me away, and this game is no exception. But what truly makes this game for me, what kept me coming back over and over again over multiple years, is the sound design. This game has the greatest, crunchiest, most mechanical sound design I've ever heard in any piece of media, let alone games. Interacting with the various machines you use to synthesize parts, the satisfying clicking sounds as you repair a shield, and every single stage hazard, cutscene element, and enemy bullet pattern is the most satisfying sound ever, period, and I would recommend this game to everyone solely based on that. Get into a loop of running over to a machine, grabbing the part, activating the machine to make another, then going and fixing the shield with that part, and LISTEN TO ALL THE SOUNDS THESE MACHINES MAKE, and try and tell me that is not absolute perfection.

SESBIAN LEX ALARM!
Really fun yet simple gameplay loop. And WLW, hard to beat.
Wow, this was unexpectedly more enjoyable than I thought ! The gameplay is well thought out. Raising the difficulty doesn't make it feel unfair, in fact, it pushed me to try again and again because I could see myself achieving it eventually. And I did ! The soundtrack is so fun, definitely an improvement over Helltaker due to the variety in level (or character) themes. Visually, I didn't expect anything less from the creator, because I love Vanripper's art style (It feels like a blend of manga and western cartoon styles). Again, the story is nothing groundbreaking : it's short, simple and cute. Mostly held up by how endearing the characters are and the power of Yuri ! But you know what really gagged me ? The concept art. Because what do you mean the game was originally meant to be Noir themed ?!? Granted, I like what we got now because yes, the gameplay wouldn't have matched that setting, but we could definitely make that idea work for a different game... (I legit hope the creators don't give up entirely on that concept, because I see the vision, and I like what I'm seeing) This was definetly so much fun. Looking forward to upcoming projects.
