This is the best thus far (I still haven't played Avernum 6). The user gets to take on the role of the Empire! This is what we were waiting for! Hail to Empire!
https://youtu.be/ZqMDr5CE3l8 While a strong entry in the Avernum series the age, especially in the UX elements, is hard to get past despite how much effort and care went into it when released.
Oldschool and classic - this game is a lot of fun.

One of the best games I've ever played. The story, the narration, the setting, the characters, the dialogue, it's all phenomenal. The low-res graphics don't take away from the incredible world of Avernum.
Coming back to an area you've been before. The streets were once blue with your leather jerkin and paring knife, but then you got a slide-stepper with a SPACE gun!
Pretty fun iteration of Avernum. Lots of playtime, replayability, and quite challenging.
Pros: My first impression is that it is similar to playing a game of dungeons and dragons. Cons: It has sound effects but doesn't seem to have background music. I still haven't made it out of the tutorial. Maybe the music comes later?
Sans doute un excellent jeu pour ceux qui aiment les vieux jeux de rôles tradicionalistes
it has a really really good story
