"You are in a maze of twisty little portals, all alike". Not. Fun.

Overall I enjoyed the game. Several annoying things: way too many items that could not be sold or used, could only summon up to 2 ally creatures and melee characters seemed pretty weak compared to magic users. I liked the quick travel pylons and that you could use any container to store unlimited items you did not want to carry or get rid of right away.
Played it back in the day. Wasn't bad.
9/10 Great storyline and sidequests from the beginning to the end. Not much free roaming like in A4 but much more to explore.
It's an Avernum game. If you liked the other Avernum games, any of the Spiderweb games, or old school RPGs, you might like it. I find them a bit too clunky and repetitive.
Everything you would expect from an Avernum title.
A satisfying end to the Dorikas saga. Which makes me ask, why is there a sequel? Can't wait to find out!
Solid in every way, looks decent, but honestly I think the graphics have a certain charm to them. They don't distract you from the bread and butter of this game. Play it
