Injouable sans SSD.
Visually stunning and fun game mechanics. Would be cool if the multiplayer option extended past just two players.
Ok, here's the thing. I'm not sure if this game is "good" but I'll be damned if I didn't kept wanting to come back to play it. The story is about as interesting as a piece of toast and the gameplay is nothing to write home about, but neither of those are what this game is trying to be good at. What this game does excel at is world building to heck and back. Despite the repetitive nature of the missions i found myself playing... and playing... and playing some more because the world was just that engrossing. It's been three months since I finished the game and the first two DLCs and all I can think about is this game even though this game is "not good". I don't love this game like Skyrim or Mass Effect or Halo, but man do I ever want to go back to it. It's kinda like lembas bread, nothing crazy delicious but dang is it sustaining. Honestly, I'm glad I forked over the cash despite the mid reviews. Its nothing groundbreaking, its nothing crazy, but it was fun and good and frankly that's all I wanted it to be. I look forward to my replay in the near future. Five stars from me.
I haven't spent a ton of time on it, but I'm enjoying it immensely thus far. The world is so alive, and the contrast between the intro sequence where you grow up as a captured Na'vi trainee in an RDA facility vs. the wilds once you join the resistance is so visually and sonically striking. The RPG-ish mechanics seem well thought out; cooking reminds me of Elder Scrolls alchemy systems, for instance. The combat can get intense, but using the stealth/perception abilities and gear that gives bonuses against different enemy types sets you up for success. I might change this review later if it gets stale once I've put more time into it. I started out similarly in Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and there was a perceptible point in that game where you could tell there was a hard cap on enjoyment with late-game enemies just having an annoying amount of health/armor to increase "replayability" or whatever. But so far, SO good.
Very cool
I play this game on Xbox and its really beautiful. The graphics are amazing the story is ok, but I noticed that we got the 3rd movie expansion and not way of water. If you want a way of water expansion put the thumbs up reaction : )
