Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game

I spend 10 hours in this game to figure out everything, the UI is one big mess. I am surprised it got very positive reviews, i am sure it has a lot of depth and such, but the campaign is harder than a trillion dollar company excel sheet imo.

Great tycoon game about running a car company and designing cars, all it's missing is a multiplayer campaign mode, the only multiplayer currently is more like a quick deathmatch. Please let us compete with our friends through the years and across markets in full a multiplayer campaign!

Sandbox mode and designing a car from scratch is really fun! With some assistance online (AI) I was able to learn what value changes affect what and how to balance things. Also this game performs well on an old gaming rig from 2017 with a newer monitor (GTX 1080, 2k resolution @120Hz). No slowdown, no crashes, etc. If I just wanted to use Automation to build cars for fun and possibly export to Beam.NG, I would recommend this. However, the campaign mode is what brings all the fun to an abrupt halt. The navigation is HORRENDOUS and there is almost ZERO guidance for learning the ropes. You can accidentally miss something because you didn't check every single d@/\/\n screen. For example, you have to sign off on projects or you're advancing months and scratching your head as to why you're not producing anything even though you've assigned a car and engine to a factory and set up the factory's values. It just feels like an unfinished mess. I guess that's why this is still in Early Access after a decade? lol

The possibilities of making and creating your car from different eras utilizing different technologies makes for a virtually infinite game loop to learn more and more about it as you go along furthering your hours day by day. 10/10 game, would recommend.
