If you're a fan of turn-based RPGs, definitely give Astra Hunter Zosma a shot! Such a sweet, charming and fun game, I very much enjoyed my time with it. I was honestly surprised by how much it offers given the fact that it's free!

I absolutely love this game to bits, it's just as amazing as Soma Union. A story just as compelling with an even more fun combat system and world exploration, a cast of characters I've come to adore, and the puzzles were entertaining without being too easy or too hard. I was especially fond of how this game doesn't have a villain, not every good story needs a bad guy and I don't find many stories like that. 10/10 experience!

Great game if you miss old 8bit style RPGs. I found the gameplay relaxing once you get the hang of the mechanics. It's a fun, feel good game. Similar in graphics style to Undertale and somewhat to the first Mother game.
Excellent. A real gem of a game. I loved it from start to finish. The mechanics are really fun (both in exploration and in combat) and I loved collecting all the gems and treasures. The characters are very lovable, NPCs included (some of whom have HILARIOUS names/titles, lol), and the story is more compelling than I expected. Charming art-style, amazing enemy design, and a wonderful soundtrack on top of all that. This is a real labour of love and passion, and it makes for a delightful time. I can't believe it's free!!
RPG Maker strikes again! "Astra Hunter Zosma" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. Although I think some of the assets might be bespoke because they look pretty bad. This is a particularly badly made RPG Maker kitbash, but at least it eschews the usual godawfully cringey fan-fiction about the developers imaginary anime girlfriend for a more traditional, if painfully generic RPG experience. You're an adventurer, you have to escape a tower by collecting stuff and having turn based battles. Rogue had more plot than this does. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? I think it's best to skip this download. While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.
Such a fun, well-crafted game "Then... let the two braincells come together"
Fastastic! The gameplay consists of a series of themed dungeons with lots of little puzzles and collectibles. All of the characters are so cute and happy! And the game's art style is so happy as well, it's a bright and friendly game. I found the combat fairly repetitive (particularly one late-game chapter), but I don't mind grinding so had a good time regardless. I would pay money for this (probably around $8?), but for the price of free it's absolutely worth picking up!
