Astonishing Basketball Manager

Smartphone game turned into Steam, meaning a lot of features and links don't work... - Outdated (Rosters with the fake players resembling real ones are from about ~2021) - Unituative, bad UI - Bad Trade Finder, can't find any trades or only terrible ones but if I make the trade myself I can do better - If you look at trades you get spammed in ur inbox by your players saying "ARE U TRADING ME!?" but u can just ignore the email too which is.. interesting - Why the heck do teams have players with all F stats.. doesn't make any sense. - Lacking a lot of features, and I have an all star player who I've trained twice in shooting with A-, for 8 straight games shoot 10%... - No option to turn down the music, only turn it off... I Guess thats a mobile oversight? - Extremeeeeely slow paced. - Can't see past tweets / media Lots more I can't think of but wow. I can see why it went free :/

Well I have played this game A LOT on my smartphone (its been released there for some years) and I really like it. It's quite hard to find a solid basketball manager. This one might not reach the deepest parts of a sports management game, but it really has a nice flow and rewards you if you are able to read stats :-) PROs: - easy to learn, not too easy to master - funny light storyline, starting when you are some time into the game - grades are visible, but they are often quite misleading. The game rewards you for reading stats - straightforward and satisfying gameplay with a nice flow (like the early sportsmanagement games had back in the days) CONs: - Graphic Style and optimisation is tailored for smartphones; i hope there will be an overhaul to group things better on the much bigger screen available. - has even some stadium and minor team management, but there is not too much depth in it - is lacking some better fort functions inside the game - there is a shop inside. This game is far away from pay2win - you can always win without paying any additional money, but is dislike this kind of shops, especially inside a PC Game Overall it may not be perfect, but it's a fun game if you don't have much time to spend.

When I got into the game, I thought it was only gonna be a cheap copy of a 2K, turns out, it wasn´t. The game is really complete, it has a HOF, it takes record of stats, has a G League team of the franchise you coach, you can even interact with a college and become a college coach and know what every college´s traits for players are... I think the only take-back I found in 17 hours of playing are the bugs. The bugs are really weird, I once clicked to start a game, and it took me to the offseason, but I still had the same record and stuff, and so did the other teams. There are a lot of bugs, but since this is an indie game, I think it´s natural that bugs appear often. Two things that I really liked were, firstly, even though the game doesn´t have the rights to have the name of the teams and players and such (obviously), you can change the teams AND player´s names, so you know you everyone is. Secondly, the system that mid-game, so it doesn´t get boring asf, it makes play little minigames, like choosing who takes a FG, how you should defend a certain player and stuff like that. I wish the game was more than just playing season after season though, I won a ring against a team that went 74-8 in the regular season in 6, with 2016 Warriors vs Cavs type comebacks in the second half in like 4 of the 6 games, but after that, I saw my players finals stats after finnally winning a ring after 3 seasons losing in the WCF and stuff, clicked to start the next offseason, and, well, that was it. I wish the game had like, interviewers after such a Finals win, or atleast had a system that would congratulate your season on how well you did. I wish the game had more to do, so I could play it even more. I downloaded the game, I think, 3 or 4 days ago, and I already have 17 hours, so I´m like, REALLY addicted, so if the devs are seeing this, which I doubt, PLEEAAASSSEEEEEE add more stufff I beg youuuu. Overrall, I am really enjoying the game, and the only take-backs I have in 17 hours are the bugs, but once this gets fixed, the game will be, well, astonishing.

The game is good but when will the player career mode come?

This game needs and update, the further you get into the game the worse it gets. You do not gain enough training points or money to upgrade fun parts of the game. I have 50,000 fans that attend the game and over 900 millions fans world wide, but my stadium and team can barely make 50 million a year. I am stuck now having to play multiple seasons just to add one shop.
