This game doesn't work and looks like a farm/pay to win; move along.
It's rough. Might get there someday, but not worth considering as-is. Poorly detects non-controller devices as controller inputs. No sound options to blunt the ear-piercingly loud noise someone seems to think is music. Dead serious on this, at %20 system volume I ripped my headphones off, can hear the sound clearly while they're on the floor, and still feel a headache coming on. Thanks for that. You know, DOS games had those features thirty years ago, right?

"Asteroid" is, first of all, not at all free. It's an abandoned Early Access cash grab, a garbage 2D retro pixel shooter, of extremely poor quality, where, despite not finishing the game the "developer" of this trash apparently had all the time in the world to infest this with a nasty cash shop, and make empty DLC as well... basically any and every opportunity to beg for money from gamers, this developer is fully invested in. It's appalling to see such low quality games with such aggressive and nasty monetisation. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions and a $4 begging DLC with nothing in it. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. At least this is likely to be removed because it's infringing on Atari's trademark for Asteroids. It'll be good when it's removed.
Seems like someone got the idea to release a freemium game to make some money off people who have a compulsion to buy expansion passes and content packs. But it's been released here on Steam instead of on mobile because the game is in an unfinished and unplayable state, also known as early access. I played for five minutes before getting bored and wondering what the point of any of it was. The underlying concept here is cool but the execution needs a lot of work. I wouldn't have released this until it was more developed. I will keep the game in my library and keep an eye on what happens to it.
Gemimizi ve ekipmanımızı yükselltiğimiz güzel bir oyun şahsen ben beğendim bu oyunu güzel görünüyor.
It was ok at first but i have no idea the objective of the game really i just when up and up destroying rocks level up for no reason then after tried doing multiple bosses but then again still no clue what this game play is about lol
it is kind of good, but there is a lot to improve, like making a touch screen control set for playing on mobile, adding more upgrades, and fixing the thing where you can enter but then your ship disapears and you cant do anything.
Одна из неплохих версий Астероидов
