I have always had a passion for rally even as a child. So rally games have always been something I enjoyed more than almost any other games. When the Dirt series especially DR 2.0 came out that was what I thought that was the pinnacle of rally gaming as well as all my friends... then I saw Assetto Corsa was making a rally game and was immediately out of my mind knowing how hard they work to bring realism to the table with the games they produce, but calmed myself down when I remembered that the reason there are so few punishingly realistic rally games is because it is impossible to actually simulate the amount of physics that happens when a several hundred horsepower, all wheel drive car is moving through the woods at 100 mph on a bumpy dirt road. My curiosity got the best of me and I bit the bullet of buying an unfinished game. When I chose the short strip of road and the car I wanted to use the eat said road I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of options a had to choose from when tuning my car. But then, the first time launching my car from the starting gate my jaw dropped, I could hear everything that the car was doing, the tires, suspension, transition, the co-driver over radio, the engine grunting under the slip and grab of the traction coming and going and it sounded literally identical to my experience in rally while fighting the wheel, brakes and throttle to keep it on the road. This is by far the most impressive rally game or even racing game that I have ever played by far. If you are someone that loves rally and is starving for the realism that not even DR 2.0 can bring and are patent enough to fail repeatedly in search of your fastest lap.... I have good news... This is the game you have been waiting for this entire time.... Thank you to the Dev team for seeing us and bringing us something beyond what I thought was possible.
