Assassin's Creed™: Director's Cut Edition

Assassin's Creed is where it all began. Looking back, it's easy to see that the gameplay is more repetitive than later entries, but for a game released in 2007, it was incredibly ambitious. The atmosphere is still one of the best in the series. The cities feel alive, the soundtrack is memorable, and the setting during the Third Crusade gives the game a unique identity that no other Assassin's Creed has quite matched. Altaïr starts off arrogant but grows into one of the franchise's most interesting protagonists. Yes, every assassination follows a similar structure—investigate, gather information, eliminate the target—but I never found it boring because each target had a purpose, and the story kept me invested. Parkour can feel clunky by today's standards, and combat is fairly simple, but both were revolutionary at the time. If you're expecting a modern open-world RPG, this isn't it. But if you want to experience the roots of one of gaming's biggest franchises, Assassin's Creed is absolutely worth playing. Rating: 8.5/10 "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted."

Не знаю дело ли в 11 винде или такое энивей случится, но оптимизон сейчас сильно страдает. Даже с патчами я это почувствовал к сожалению. Игра в этом плане сильно устарела, а тем более плохо состарилось отсутствие вырезанного контента и потому репетативность контента. But still...игра для меня будет стоять высоко в тир-листе. Я получил лютое удовольствие от тех фишек, что мы потеряли уже начиная со второй части. Да и нарративом в связке с дизайном игра хороша. Тем более отмечу саундтрек. Йеспер Кид энивей хорошо постарался везде, но мне очень нравится его музыка здесь. Она очень самобытна. Я ни за что не вернусь в черный флаг или изгоя, зато от АС1 я получил плежер. Но ♥♥♥ как же плохо она работает на современных системах, а ремастер сборка у меня работает только наполовину. Хз надо ли вам покупать АС1 в стиме, но вот вернуться пожалуй стоит в мир где арабы и евреи находятся в одном городе да убегают от психопата в белом.

Given the game is so old, it has bugs. One of the most common issues is crashing immediately upon launch & freezing during gameplay. This and most other bugs can be easily fixed by launching the game from the dedicated DX10 or DX9 executables using steam launch options (copy paste: "AssassinsCreed_Dx10" %command%) but this fix is not guaranteed to work for everyone. As for the gameplay itself, it was fun but it does get repetitive because many of the missions are the same. Never played a game with parkour like this personally so I thought it was cool but eventually you become aware of how clunky it is. Sometimes it can feel smooth but most of the time it feels super clunky and inconsistent and thus frustrating. The combat shines when you have space to move but usually you have very little space, are surrounded and getting backed into a corner where you can barely move. Your camera also gets blocked a lot during combat. So for these reasons, the combat on average is quite bad. Overall, you need to have extreme patience in this game. There are clearly much better AC games (black flag & ezio trilogy) so only get this one if: You really want to play the original in the franchise You don't mind extremely clunky game mechanics & physics You are prepared for bugs and to do troubleshooting

Боевая система - это балет с задержкой развития: враги ждут своей очереди умирать от контр-атаки. Единственный по-настоящему страшный враг - вода. Альтаир не умеет плавать, и лужа для него смертоноснее финального босса. Есть паркур, и на этом спасибо. Атмосфера: Три города-близнеца с разными цветовыми фильтрами и толпами людей, которые орут на вас просто за то, что вы существуете. Вы - не герой, вы - глюк в чужой генетической памяти, которому постоянно напоминают, что он здесь лишний. Реальность за стенами Анимуса ещё хуже: пустой офис, скрипящий голос доктора и глобус с угрозами. Итог: Это гипнотичная, репетитивная икона, которая заставляет вас медитировать на минарете ради одного красивого кадра с орлом. Игра не ведёт за ручку, она швыряет вас в средневековый хаос и говорит: "Разбирайся сам". 7,5 утопленных Альтаиров из 10.

this game's actually good. some missions are a bit repetitive and certain cutscenes are longer than usual, but other than that it's hated for no reason. a true classic

Games stutters a lot, but here's the fix (from PCGamingWiki): Game regularly freezes for a few seconds. The game is trying to connect to Ubisoft servers which cannot be reached anymore. This server was used to track statistics about the game usage, so blocking connection to it shouldn't cause any problems in the game. Modify the executable to remove server address Open either AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe or AssassinsCreed_Dx10.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD). Search for 67 63 6F 6E 6E 65 63 74 2E 75 62 69 2E 63 6F 6D (hex values) or gconnect.ubi.com (text string). Replace the hex value with 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 or click Edit > Fill selection... > Hex-values: 00 > OK. Save the file. Notes This method has the advantage of not needing to be updated if Ubisoft changes the IP address that "gconnect.ubi.com" resolves to and allows other games that use services provided by it to continue to work properly.

(Por algum motivo meu tempo de jogo bugou e aparece menos do que joguei na steam, mas zerei o jogo) Estou começando agora a jogar a saga Assassin's Creed e gostei bastante do primeiro jogo, mas não dá para negar que atualmente ele está um pouco datado, com uma movimentação um pouco dura às vezes e o jogo acaba sendo repetitivo demais quando você chega na segunda metade. O ponto que eu mais gostei, que inclusive já era algo que eu já conhecia um pouco mesmo sem nunca ter jogado um Assassin's Creed, foi a história. Mesmo não sendo nada de extremamente inovador, pelo menos hoje em dia, eu pessoalmente acho muito interessante toda a história da franquia original e curti bastante aqui também. No final, acho que a melhor forma de descrever o primeiro Assassin's Creed é que se trata de um jogo que hoje em dia não é para todos, mas compensa muito se você quiser conhecer de fato a franquia.
