Assassin's Creed™: Director's Cut Edition

Ну начнём. Данная игра мне не понравилась от слова совсем, но мне пришлось проходить её для завершения истории с Эцио и Альтаиром. Начну сразу с минусов. 1. Однообразие сюжетных миссий. Открывай точки обзора, ищи НПС, говори с ними, кради вещи, убивай/убивай скрытно. Иди в бюро, забирай перья и убивай цель. И так всю игру. Не сказал бы, что во втором Assassin's Creed было больше разнообразия, но оно всё же было. 2. Вечные болваны. НПС, которые просто ходят по карте и без остановки говорят своим писклявым голосом фразы, которые явно не к месту. Сразу видно, что разработчики собирались сделать мир живим, но чересчур перестарались. 3. Механики. Самой бесячей для меня механикой в мире стала скрытность. Вот ты спалился, и за тобой бегут враги. Во втором Assassin's Creed достаточно было просто слегка убежать, а тут настоящий челлендж на 5 минут. Сначала убеги, потом найди укрытие и спрячься. Вроде бы мелочь, но меня бесит, что каждые 15 минут приходится от кого-то бегать и искать место, где спрятаться. А ещё по пути к какому-нибудь стогу сена тебя может заметить ещё один враг, и опять придётся бегать. Теперь плюсы. 1. Быстрый сюжет. Да, звучит странно, но с моим желанием играть это очень даже хорошо. Во время игры я всё думал: «Когда же этот ужас закончится». Всё, больше плюсов нет. Игру я посоветую только тем, кому зашла серия Assassin's Creed. Мне очень повезло, что мой знакомый, который подарил мне трилогию с Эцио, порекомендовал мне проходить серию именно со второй части. И вам советую поступить так же. Если бы я начал своё знакомство с серией с первой части, я бы пропустил самые сочные игры серии. Оценка: 4/10.

Game can run neither fullscreen nor windowed at a workable resolution 5. Manually launch through AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe AC1 has some gameplay shortcomings and it looks dated. That is to be expected, and completely forgivable, that's what I willingly signed up for. What is NOT forgivable is SELLING a BROKEN product. Ubisoft still gets money from each sale. The least they can do is make a little wrapper script for this so the steps I took to make it work are integrated into the Steam install & launch process.

Воплощённое величие. Святой Грааль от мира видеоигр. Можно много говорить про последующие части. Какие они культовые, какие они конвейерные, какие они клёвые и какие они отстойные. Но самый первый ассасин - он вне времени, как божественное откровение. И останется таковым навсегда. Сколько бы раз в неделю юбисофт ни закрывались и сколько бы ещё паршивых новых частей ни выходило.

Every issue I noticed during my playthrough (~13 hours): - The game crashes on startup, however turning your internet on/off fixes this (Win+R -> ncpa.cpl -> right click and Disable/Enable before and after starting worked for me and took like 5 seconds). Your playtime is tracked normally in your game library. I didnt experience any other performance issues - The middle of the game where most of the missions are is extremely repetitive, which can be a big turn-off - As great as being able to climb everything you see is, the movement can be very annoying, especially when chased - Exiting the game unironically takes like 30 seconds of menu navigation lol (make sure you dont accidentally delete your profile, I managed to do that and had to replay the first memory block) Despite all of this the game was a very pleasant surprise. Due to how much hate it gets I expected a buggy game that would be a pain in the ass to even start, which isnt true at all in my opinion. The game does a very good job making sure you understand its weird controls and keybinds and everything overall felt very player friendly. The story is great, especially the ending, although it might be a bit hard to get at first. Would definitely recommend despite the hate it gets, very good for its time!

The most mediocre entry in the series, good in concept and fun for an hour, but bland and boring afterwards. One of the reasons why suicide hotline exists. 420 flag collectibles and 60 assassination targets? Sure. Any reward for them? Nope. Any meaningful moments in the game? Maybe 3. It ends before it starts, and it might be better to not even start it tbh. The book by Oliver Bowden is 100 times better and has some extra lore inside, quite similar in lenght too.
