Another AC in desperate need of a remake. It is better than AC 1 because of the improved mission design and great story but the combat and parkour are still so trash. Imprecise, shallow, clunky and annoying. The game is also really ugly in 2026 r. Assassinations are often bugged - even tho game tells you to press the Assassinate button the character does not perform any action or the action is badly caluculated by the game's engine resulting in character falling down and dying, being stuck in objects etc. Really annoying ♥♥♥♥.

Looked up rankings and tier lists of what AC games are the best, I'm a new player. Seems like everyone who likes this game in 2026 is driven by nostalgia. I don't recommend this game for newer player that are trying to get into the the Assassin's Creed games.
