I couldn't think of a better tool for general game design.
- Very expensive for what it is - Long to start up - Manipulations (drag and drop, focus changes, text field modifications) requiring multiple steps and going through multiple menus - So many menus - Things have names in technical jargon - You can't write text with articy:draft, you can only write in forms, after filling out an enormous number of more complex forms - Do you think you'll produce something usable elsewhere? Think again: once your project is finished, its data can only be exported in plain text format or in articy:draft format - Why export the data? Because articy:draft doesn't save projects to Steam Cloud (at least the last time I tested it) - No automatic saving: crash = loss of all your laborious modifications - Most people will take several days to learn this software that serves to... what does it serve for anyway? And they'll see their refund window lost before understanding that this thing is useless. I really regret this purchase... - It doesn't serve to organize video game projects, for that it's absolutely incompetent, and you'd need two other software to manage your project. No, articy:draft serves to manage dialogues for visual novels or novels - The devs don't care about community content: they destroyed data on the forum - It's no longer available because the creators and editors want to push toward... tada: articy:draft 3, at 70 euros, which comes with additional microtransactions! (perpetual subscription, on top of the price to unlock all features)... Conclusion: I can't understand the people who made positive reviews... people who've never used software before? Fake accounts? Mystery. You might as well use a novel editor like Quoll Writer and yWriter7, it's free, much more pleasant to use, and you produce much much more.
Qull Writer
http://quollwriter.com - Free, open source - Everything is intuitive, you can customize everything from the graphical interface - You can lock access to certain projects - You can create element types with fields and tags, and link them in advanced ways - You can change the software's appearance in detail: color and background image, font, character size There's a text editor... without microtransactions (wow!) - Community with requests for new features - Available on Windows, Linux, and Mac
yWriter7
https://www.spacejock.com/yWriter7.html - Free - Unlocks writer's block - Well evaluates writing quality, including narrative tension - There's a text editor... without microtransactions (wow again!) who would have expected that in this kind of software?! - It generates Word or Open Office documents very quickly - Available on Windows, Android, iOS, and Mac Both allow you to define links between elements, create custom element types, add images, track your productivity, AND they allow you to export data in well-known formats that can be used by other software managing other aspects of your project, like software for generating and editing world maps / building maps, equally free, for example.

Una herramienta genial para el desarrollo de juegos, historias o partidas de rol.
Without a doubt one of the most powerful world building tools with an immaculate amount of potential. I just kick myself for having well over 200 hours and just now starting to figure out how to use it on my own projects. That's not to say its complex or that its simple, there is a built in tutorial to teach users how to operate the software and demo projects to look through to understand the capabilities. It's rather impressive really, shame I just never stuck with an idea long enough until now. As such I'd say to get some foundational planning on paper as it can become way too easy to get lost within the details. Overall it feels a hell of a lot easier than having a mediawikia but if that ever changes I'll be revisiting this review.
I got this in some bundle (can't remember which one). Managed to crash the program in the first hour of use. Since it doesn't auto save it lost my changes, so not a great first impression. Thankfully I was just experimenting and not doing anything important with it.
A good planning tool

Great game design software.
sehr gut
