this game isnt worth money, its ugly bright and feels cool only for the first couple of minutes. visuals are tiring
Beautiful game with confined play. Computer tells you what to draw, you draw, computer grades, rinse and repeat. Creative but limited open world exploration to find additional colors and drawing tools. Worth a buy on sale for a relaxing experience.
I drew a half competent art for the first time in my life thanks to Art Sqool. Thanks Art Sqool! (Art Sqooooooool)

The trailer is the best thing about it. The "game" is not a game - it's more like a high-school Unity project. And this insult probably isn't very far from the truth. You can walk, you can draw. That's the game. paint.exe simulator Wish I was kidding, but that's it. It's not a quirky indie thing, a special-if-rough-around-the-edges experience. You draw based on a prompt, and a RandomNumberGenerator grades you. Do that... 20? 40? times. I don't even remember anymore. I paused to check. FIFTY TIMES. jesus And that's it. Read-Draw-Grade This garbage is nice enough to save your drawings, but stupid enough to forget the prompt. So all you're left with is a number of badly-drawn contextless drawings and a sense of shame. I got this game virtually free. (bundle) I'm now deleting it from my library because its existence is an eyeshore. If you think I'm exaggerating, go watch any random clip of gameplay. Cheers
boring

I got a bit excited upon buying this game. I thought it was gonna be a really exciting game, with tons of interactions and unique drawing prompts! It was really anything but. Sure, drawing can be really fun, but the gameplay itself is tedious and unrewarding. The only reason you'd explore the vast, confusing landscape is just to get more materials to draw with. There's absolutely nothing else of use. There's barely any story, and the grading system is confusing as all hell. It's a baron wasteland of a game and the only thing it has going for it right now is its cutesy vaporwave/80s aesthetic. I'd say it has a ways to go, but it seems like the publisher has no interest in improving this game. Don't buy it on switch. Just play drawn to life or crayon physics if you want a game where you can draw.
Really simple, but also quite enjoyable. You kind of have to like drawing to begin with to get the most out of this game, though. I'm someone who struggles a lot with coming up with ideas for what to draw, so having an application that gives me suggestions with a cool environment to explore is just perfect for me.
"As time consuming and as fruitless as real art school". That's the message I get from all this arbitrary grading from a fake A.I. Some times it's fun drawing with a limited amount of tools, but it get infuriatingly boring after some undeserved F's.
Art Sqool is a meme game. It doesn't play well and the art program isn't really fun nor are the challenges they give you. It's only fun for maybe 10 or so minutes. Then it becomes a boring chore. I don't recommend it.
