Ive played the mobile version and this is merely a copy paste. Though that doesnt mean its not good. Since its a cross-platform game, the people playing on PC have an untouched advantage because sniping is always easier on PC than on mobile. A high tier mech can clean house on a their respective matches even with the weakest sniper rifle. Speaking of tiers the game has good matchmaking separating matches by players who use mechs at certain level ranges which can be organized into 3 groups. Low tier (lvl 1-3), Mid tier lvl 4-6), High tier (lvl 7-9). Though a high tier mech cant join a lower tier match, a lower tier mech can definitely join a higher tier than its own. INCONVENIENT STUFF: > After a few games Ive discovered that PC players might not have weapon cooldowns on multiplayer as demonstrated by an individual ive found that was a 4 year veteran in the game. (ikr crazy his rank was 3 levels higher than mine and ive already completed the entire campaign mode up to nightmare difficulty where the majority of exp can be gained throughout the entire game.) > Cheaters... From the 60 hours in the game ive encountered a total of 3 cheaters. Two with nearly infinite health and high damage and one with high fire rate and speed. WHAT NEEDS FIXING: > A lot of weapons need rebalancing as a the majority of weapons have high risk and very little reward resulting in the meta of melee users catapulting themselves across the map and each other and duke it out. In high tier matches Ive seen these fights and it just seems like a battle of attrition to whoever gets tired first > The same hat/ armor have the different paints and stats. (Ex. On high tier humanoid-like mechs you can buy "armour" in the form of hats. The garage shop offers a multitude of top-hats with varying colors and for some reason the green one has somewhat the best stats among the rest with no downside whatsoever. > Cheaters > The engineer loadout. With specific weaponry and equipment a player can create a turret nest with a health dispenser that comes with a force field at lvl 2 and varying turret variations. The turrets need to be buffed because its damage output and range does not even come close to adequate when against real players. The only 2 good turrets used are the yellow one that blasts players away and the blue one that fires a freezing sniper shot, every other turret is garbage. And speaking of garbage, the nest is hard to set up and easily destroyed. The healing is very good and can save an entire team however the over-healing makes mech larger up to 3x but the buffs are too little which is why every experienced player did not want to be over-healed for more than 5 seconds. The force field that the healing station creates at level 2 is powerful against physical bullet based attacks but can be easily countered with EMP, Plasma bullets, and a melee based mech. The latter is more of a concern since it is a meta loadout which is why there are barely engineers on higher tier matches. GOOD STUFF: > No micro transactions I recommend playing the mobile version first which is free.
