It's a cool free-to-play (mobile) game. Pay-to-win is almost non-existent. Of course you can skip the grind and just purchase more impressive weapons with real money, but you still have to level them up by killing enemies. I had a lot of battles where better equipped players had big guns but had no skill - running at me with electromagnetic, flaming arrow, bazooka, lava, boomerang, icy, etc weapons - who I just killed with my standard rifle ... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155905322 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155904040
Introduction
Ok, I'm not one to usually say no to a free game. I've played this game for quite awhile, evidently taking a major break back in December due to not liking where the state of the game was at the time. After seeing something on Twitter about a tournament/league going on, I decided to give the game a fair chance. I used to love this game, I even helped with the beginning of e-sports for this game, but even after 5 months, the game is still in a very unhealthy state IMO. But before i say the bads, let me go through the goods.
The Good
The Controls The controls are so smooth. When i played the game back before December 2018, the controls were so clunky. Yes, you could edit your controls, but nothing seemed to feel... natural. After playing again, once I got used to the controls, the game felt like I was a part of it. The game responded how I wanted. The Graphics The graphics for this game have always been great since i first started playing. When you think about the fact that this was a mobile game, it makes you realize the power of the engine they use. I love the animations, pilot and weapon skins, and even the death animations are a nice touch. Super Bit Machine This game has so much potential. Aside from being a unique game in a world full of battle royals, this game has been launched by a group of people who seem to genuinely care about their game and community. Every interaction I've had with a developer has been a great experience. I have yet to meet one I didn't get along with, and every single one was supportive of community startups. If they keep pushing the community along like this, the game will do nothing but thrive... as long as they fix the game itself.
The Bad
The Balance Ok, many players argue with this, claiming that this comes from "inexperience players". Then let an experienced player give his thoughts for a second. Previously, back in 2018, the game had a huge problem with weapon balanced. There was a certain weather weapon that was ridiculously overpowered. Overtime, the devs found a way to balance it out, and the game became fun. Right? Wrong. The weapon stayed they same. 5 months later, it truly feels like what they did is up the power of several other weapons so the strength of most weapons is much higher. This is not a good thing in my opinion. The game was much more fun when it was a slower paced game that took several minutes to get to 30 kills, not 2 minutes at the slowest. The range of close range weapons is too far, the range of mid range weapons is barely longer than that. If you just changed the range, not even the damage, it would change the whole perspective of fights and leave more room for strategy. But i'm not a game developer, just a game analyst and e-sports player of another game, so you don't need to listen to me The Grind I'm gonna leave this one short. I don't want to have to play the game as much as a professional player does just to get weapons and gear in less than 5 months. I've had a problem with this from the moment they released it, and it has hardly been fixed.
The Unknown
I debated on whether to address this or not, but I'm only going to tell you what I know for sure about this topic. The Community The community used to be bad. Like, so bad that i had a whole group of friends leave the game just from how some people treated them in chats and Discord. The supposed "pro players" were mostly a bunch of trolls and jacka**es that didn't care about any players outside their team, and some even were disrespectful inside their team. There were some exceptions to this, but not near as many as there should have been in a professional environment. So far I haven't rejoined the discord, mostly due to the fact that i don't want to have to deal with it if it hasn't been fixed. The in game community seemed to be less toxic from the the time I played. I didn't have anyone being rude, so that was good.
Final Conclusion
Overall, I can't bring myself to recommend a game that is so unbalanced and shows no signs of changing that, especially since it's been this way for almost a year now. I really want this game to succeed, and I truly think it can, as long as it's made playable to everyone. That's just my thoughts on the game, if you have any questions, leave a comment or send a DM, I will answer any questions and even provide clarity into more topics.

seriously the best free game ive ever played. fast matchmaking, fast matches, fast gameplay. and did i mention NOISIA soundtrack. Buy it bruh
The mechanics and general gameplay are amazing, it's extremely fun to play even when you lose. It requires skill and isn't just a pay to win mess, you can win a match with just the stock three weapons, I highly recommend this game to anyone. It calls back to many a flash game I played in my early childhood. 8/10 A Singleplayer Campaign would really make this a 10/10 game in my eyes.
Bear's Take: Armajet - a promising 2.5D multiplayer jetpack combat game that once united players worldwide in thrilling competition. But does it still soar or has it crash-landed into oblivion? Let's strap on our jetpacks and find out. Sip 'n' Savor: Armajet seemed like a breath of fresh air in the gaming world, offering unique jetpack combat and cross-platform play for seamless action on the go. Unfortunately, it seems like the winds of change have blown in the wrong direction, leaving behind an empty sky where once there was excitement. Milk Mustache Moment: It's a shame to see a game with such potential fall by the wayside. The loyal player base speaks volumes about the fun that could be had in Armajet, but without the ability to connect, it's like trying to fly with clipped wings. It's a reminder that even the brightest stars can burn out if left untended. Roar Factor: The fact that Armajet is still listed on the Steam store despite being abandoned and unplayable is a disappointment to say the least. It's like leaving a broken toy on the shelf, teasing players with the promise of fun that can never be fulfilled. Let's hope the developers take notice and either breathe new life into Armajet or gracefully retire it from the skies. Final Paw-sition: Should you give Armajet a chance? Not unless you enjoy staring at an empty sky. It's a shame to see a game with such potential meet such a fate, but such is the nature of the gaming world. Here's hoping for brighter skies and smoother flights in the future. Rating: 🚫🍯🍯🍯🍯 (0 out of 5)
El juego era divertido. una lastima que hayan cerrado. :(
rest in peace armajet, you were too goated for this world :pensive:
It's a great game and would recommend it to anyone, awesome, fun, competitive and entertaining. My only gripe is that it lags sometimes and other times its just down right unplayable. I have a razor blade 15, RTX 2070 with 144 refresh rate, wifi 6 card and router and still getting high pings (always 0ver 130 - 170 - 670 ping). It was playing as smooth as butter before. With season 4 and 5 been having issues like this. I play other competitive online shooter games and they don't have these problems. But its free and would give 5 stars if this problem gets fixed. :)
