ARIA: Genesis

Well, this one is rough... Game is obviously made by someone with more ambition than budget. Gameplay is clunky, far too much variety. Dev should sit down and select one thing and polish that, large multi genre experiences come when you have a bit more budget, and maybe manpower. The only mode that seems kinda polished is the in flight mode, and that suffers from being a tad repetative. Very decent attempt, but is getting choked under the weight of its ambition.

ARIA could still use some work, but I respect its overall quality and effort. When compared to the quality of so many others." My addition : the dev is friendly and responsive in the Steam discussions. The game is not really an AVN, it is a FPS/RPG with a storyline. It is not super long, I have 15hours on it, but youcan do replay of missions, change costumes, HAVE FULL FREE 3D ROAMING in the missions' scenaries (probably a Unity3D game or older Unreal 3D engine). Graphics are a 8/10 but are greatly compensated by the fluidity of the 3D movements and animations.. higher details models would not play for all users as the game is rendering in real time, not precalculated as with an AVN where you can put a lot more texture details. I enjoyed those 15hrs of gameplay, will give it a break and will replay eventually, or sooner if the dev adds more missions

Finally finished the game. You must complete all the main quests to unlock the nude status for all the female characters. It takes about 3.5 to 4.5 hours to complete the game. I only finished it once and don't want to play it again. I hope people who haven't bought the game will be cautious. The protagonist you control doesn't have breasts as big as those two supporting characters, so people who like big breasts should not buy it (personal advice)

honestly the dev lied cause i seen some scenes on the trailer but never happened in the game

It feels like the developer has never played a modern video game before.

Didn't really enjoy this after a couple hours. Frame Rate drops after a few missions. Music was meh. Story, enemies and level design are not good or interesting. Voice lines were strange, like they just took some recorded Japanese dialogue from other media a pasted into this game. Not recommended.

I LOVED the game. Just completed the main story and it was left open for more so I'm curious to see if there's going to be an update. Controls are a little janky at times and there are bugs but nothing game-breaking. I didn't know how to do any combat at first, so i had to figure out that on my own. but it wasn't difficult to grasp. It took only a few seconds to get the hang of it. Gameplay was fun overall. I thoroughly enjoyed it. (A lot of people on this site are anal as f for some reason. I don't get why people expect AAA quality out of indie devs. "Oh it's not Cyberpunk or GTA so I'm gonna down vote it and not give a good reason why. I don't get it.) Sex scenes are hot, the outfits kind of glitch. and the ♥♥♥♥ glitches through one of the girls in the restroom scene. I think its either Phia or Maiko, I don't remember. Those are pretty mild issues. Also infinite money glitch: If you dance in the strip club and just leave it going overnight, you'll wake up to 10s of thousands of credits and can buy anything in any store. I woke up to 58,000 credits, bought everything and still had like 34,000 when i finished the main story. All in all, it was a great game, I had a lot of fun and I can't wait to see what else comes out of these guys.

This game is sooo much better than expected. I thought it looked good, but some reviews made me hesitant. I'm really glad I decided to go with my gut and buy this. The gameplay is well done and surprisingly varied. The visuals and h scenes are great as well. I'm still early in the game, but already see a lot of collectibles and rewards to be earned (magazines, outfits). I do hope it gets controller support soon, but other than that, I have no problem recommending this game!
