Fun but laggy sometimes. I got crap internet though.
-Really great music, I love the details on the pixel art, ship gameplay is great, puzzles are the best and tons of hidden content in the game. -Really slow start and quest rewards could be better as they feel like placeholders for now (early access i guess). This made the first 5 hours of gameplay really slow however was offset by the exploring i was doing waiting for my crops (main income). - Made it to the latest island through some grinding and thanks to the players that do play and a great community to help me. -Alot of content feels started but held off for now. Including furniture, animals, and other activities like i felt hints towards exploring the islands and activities like fishing but i guess i was just teased lmao. -Good amount of hours spent i can't wait for the playerbase to return and community events to be more frequent as well as the next island please :) PS: Great game for couples and new gamers too :)

An early access game that hasn't seen an update in almost six months. Getting close to abandonware.
Hey play this game before you read the reviews and you will see how dumb people are. There are some that say they switched the combat system - they didn't, there are 5 combat systems and they just stumbled into one they didn't do before. There are some that say the crafting system is too complex - it's not, they just didn't get to the next combat area or raise farm exp high enough for the next part. There are some that say it's unstable - it's not, I played with 4 people from 3 countries in two different hemispheres. This is a gd gem! The bad reviews are from People WHO Do NOT Read THE Quests! This game is like Horizon's Gate meets Stardew Valley. Play it with friends. It's amazing!
im like 90% sure one of my friends gifted me this game and im sorry he did games abandonware and not even good abandonware at that. half way through the game the dev randomly decided they wanted to make an entirely different kind of game so the gameplay just switches entirely and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jarring as hell. what about before that well before that is janky slop that barely works and makes no sense and expects you to suffer some of the most braindead level design imaginable. then after that you get to experience even worse level design and gameplay that not only is barely functional like the gameplay before it just doesnt even work 90% of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. i dont know when i last played this game but the fact that grey havens has so many abandonware/maintence mode games kinda just tells you to ♥♥♥♥ off from anything theyre involved in. they arent a real publisher they just do the minimum to keep the old games playable so good for like the 1 good game they do that for.
It's a cute game, being 2d that's what expected. The fighting system is interesting of course and being able to build your own house and everything is quite nice. You're not obligated to engage into missions that you don't want to or PvP per say.
Game has potential! Part of the team for Arcane Waters had taken part in other games I hold near and dear (Spiral Knights) so the game is in good hands when it comes to making good and proper updates. Had fun with the mechanics and playing with friends, the weekend monster raids were the best 👍
The game doesn't work offline and there appear to be no servers.
I played this game for a little while. Still very early access so there's a lot to be desired in terms of gameplay/interactions. The puzzles racked my brain a little bit and the combat is simple enough to understand. Much better with friends, of course. I am curious to see where it goes
dead on arrival.
